Is it worth lvling Torrent?

And also, is it worth lvling White Voodoo as well. It's lvl 3 at the moment, and I'm wondering if I should lvl it further or leave it.

    Torrent doesn't seem worth it. I've only got lvl 1, but it honestly doesn't seem needed. At my lvl (21 at the time of this) I can Aqua Impact > Soul Blast > Landslide mobs my level without them even touching me because of the damage and Aqua's effect of slowing the enemy. Maybe lvl it when the essentials have been fulfilled. Could prove to be useful at pvp. But Damage over Time skills such as this tend to draw aggro rather severely; I did it on Ocean Tusker and he came after me directly. b:shocked

    Same as above. Not needed due to the speed in which enemies die. Can prove useful if you need to get away, however. Does buff your defense quite a lot, especially if you can damage them with Soul of Vengeance too.

    Since torrent and sand trap (your two DoT skills) aren't affected by your voodoo skills, they have its uses on pvp and bosses. For grinding purposes:Black Voodoo+Aqua Impact+Spirit Blast+Landslide does the job as well.

    Your strategy changes using White Voodoo 10: only DoT skills such as Torrent, Sand Trap and sometimes (since it is for a chance) Red Tide deals a good amount of damage along with Soul of vengeance/retaliation and Soulburn. You become less squishy but more support focused and all damage output comes from DoT/Soul skills and your teammates.

    I'd say that White Voodoo definitely isn't needed at lower levels because you can easily kill before they hit you. And if you do get hit there's always the heal skill.

    They seem like the type of skills to level later in levels when spirit is more accessible to you.

    i got my white voodoo to 5 just to have the 50% reduction
