I log in on my cleric after the maintenance and it's gone.

I'm the leader and only member of it. It's name was 'Enrage. Yes I know, there's another Enrage out there and my main is in it. This guild was a joke and more importantly to stop spam invite/recruit harassment from other guilds on my cleric. I paid 100k for it.

Did some idiot report me thinking I was a fake bidder? Tao members accused me of it. Let me tell you something, you may not like Enrage but we're not stupid. If we wanted to fake bid we wouldnt've have named it something that was so obviously close to our name, and we don't fake bid because duh, obviously, they'd find out and ban us.

What harm did my guild do other than cause some amusing reactions? It dosen't do anything that the real Enrage does. Are one man guilds not allowed or something? I want my damn coins back so I make myself another guild.

Yeah i'm going to send in a ticket. I needed somewhere to vent and to warn other one man guilds out there that they're subject to mysteriously dissapearing.

    Theres heaps of "copycat" factions. And this was one of them. Youll have to make a faction with an original name.

    There is a faction on sanctuary called "Outlaw" that used to be really really big (held like 1/3 of the land), it owns one now but there was also a faction called "OutIaw". Same thing here.

    And FYI, that "idiot" who reported you actually did the right thing. He isnt an idiot.

    There's nothing against it, nothing that should've caused such an action from the GMs as to disband it. It certainly wasn't a "fake guild". I never bid nor had intentions to bid on anything.

    And it basically is a fake guild. You have to look at it from an Enrage members perspective or a GMs perspective.

    My main is an Enrage member. I told them about it and they all knew, they thought it was pretty funny. I should have at least been contacted in someway or at least my guild should have been investigated before they disbanded it.

    Some guilds share similar names simply because they both wanted that name. In that case, does this mean the one with the lower levels and fewer members should incurr a ban for being a "copycat"? Of course not. If GMs take the word of whoever submits a ticket and takes action without investigation then i'd like to report Tao, WaR, Radiance and Caesar.

    No foreign characters in names ingame
    Like that apostrophe thing you used there.
    Its only letters and numbers that are allowed.

    but then why not just state "letters and numbers only" when u plan on naming a faction right there?
    i didnt know that the apostrophe was a foreign character though o.o
    i seen that in a few factions running around...cant remember which and who it belonged to be see it there :p

    The thing you gotta read before accepting to register.

    And yep, we had factions disbanded on sanc too cause of some japanese or whatever characters in the name.

    GMs really aren't open to reasoning. A friend of mine made a faction and agreed with Conquerer (pre-split up) to do TW for practise on the newby members. So we place a bid on the lands, knowing we'll get our money back. The friend of mine got banned, and now shes quit.

    Guess you got lucky, really.

    lol...what? Try making a character with numbers in the name. Go on. Try it. I bet you a corvette it doesn't let you.

    *cough* There's a pretty large faction on our server named "WaR". Yes those quotes are part of the name, not WaR, but "WaR". Kinda throws you arguement out the wondow. *cough*

    That's the thing. "Practice" can really also be fake bidding to block others from attacking a land, if everyone had a low pop alt guild break off from them and get paid to "practice" against them, then no one could legitimately attack those lands, hence the reason why it is not permitted.

    Please understand, it's not that we are unreasonable, but there are a lot of people out there who will do this maliciously time and time again. On the internet, it is very difficult to give the benefit of the doubt, especially when we have evidence.
