Rudy the Reindeer 10mps --> 11mps

Do I need to spur rudy to get him from 10mps to 11mps? As far as I can tell, I do, but I don't want to spend the money without knowing for sure.

    Yes you do.
    When you ride a mout they level up to the maximum level of 11.
    When they level they speed up a little but not that much. To get it to 11 you need to buy the upgrade thing from the cash shop.

    I looked at the spurs (Galewind) as recommended on the pwi database but they specify that you go from a 9 to 10 speed. My Rudy is already a 10 speed but I want to know if it is even possible to go to the 11 speed Hurricane Rudy? These spurs won't do it according to their description . Has anyone successfully upgraded the Rudy to 11 speed? Thanks :)
