Try again after you have disabled your Firewall software.
May block traffic that leads to the PWI servers.
See Windows Security Center to see which Firewall your using.
Maybe you're using Windows Firewall, but shouldn't give blocking issues... I use ZoneAlarm Firewall, and is pretty heavy Firewall protected, however GL on finding the Firewall solutions.
PS: If you have your Firewall disabled and still can't access the PWI server...
Than try to login into your Modem/Router and disable the Hardware Firewall in there.
    Once again, GL! b:cute

    ...is your internet working?
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Yeah, it's me. Don't read to much into it, though; I'm only here for myself now, killin' time and chillin' when need-be. So sue me. Tch...

Try to force your login. I had an issue similar to this a while back. Just check the box and see if that lets you get in. If it does, you won't have to keep checking it afterward.

I'm having the exact same problem. I cannot log into the server. It's really frustrating. Plus I can't figure out how to open ports on the router either. The official website does not help.

I'd open the ports on your firewall before I'd mess with the router. It's much easier to do; just add the files that call out.

Opening ports on your router is a bit more pain and heartache. You need to determine your own IP address (which you can do with IPCONFIG at a command prompt), go into a web browser, put in your own IP address, input the user name and password to open up your administrative options, and then go and add the exception. Also, different brands and models of router can have very different setups in how the firmware is displayed.
