Ive begun to notice that Barbs are becoming more and more scarce on the server lol i dont think that is a good thing but then again >.>

    Lot of people on raging tide are on other server, so they will quit soon. The others just wanna try the tide out I guess, after a month or so though ittle die down.

    Barbs are not becoming more and more scarse ppl are becoming more and more afraid therefore, barbs are hiding behind alts. Like other classes some high lvl brbs are becoming more and more greedy, self-centered, and egotistic so individuals are finding ways to do without them.

    Because of the lies high lvl's have spreaded about low lvl's (not being able to perform adaquately) others will not accept their help.

    If this problem is not resolved soon PWI will be left in the dust losing funds and players Because individuals will seek other rpgs to replace them and take their friends, family, and associates with them.

    Not to worry they will have a server full of theives, liers, manipulators, and ingame hackers. b:sad

    attitudes like this are the reason.

    Plenty of other classes or even higher levels that would make perfect tanks for the situation and be willing to help...but no, with a lot of people it HAS to be a barb.

    Supply and demand. Same amount of barbs, more demand, that's all.

    You name me one occasion where another class than a barb can tank an entire Gamma. The only time I ever look for barbs is when I want to gamma, and I spam WC for close to 2 hours sometimes with not a single PM. b:angry

    Well i have never once charged anyone to tank anything and im always around when someone needs help. I mean whats the point of asking people to pay if when you need help they want you to pay lol that just sucks when it all comes full circle right? Help when you can help and you will be more likely to get the help in return. I like this game because it is more player intense and what i mean by that is it requires you to work more with other players to get things done which is unlike most of the MMO's i have ever played. I think barbs are hard to fine because outside of oracleing up there very hard to level. But oracleing up also makes learning the charecter and how to tank the right way very hard and yea not a good thing. But hey if you ever need help in dreamweaver and ya need a tank or anyone just look me up or anyone from Vanquish and we will do our best to help you. b:victory

    I've got to be honest here. One of the reasons people are finding barbs to be scarce is because too many people out there don't think a barb of the appropriate level can tank anything. Granted some people are smarter than that, but even BH squads seem to fear having a single barb and only one cleric. On the same token I'm noticing more classes are less willing to play their role properly (I.E. the battle clerics that seem to be popping up everywhere). I don't intend this to sound like a flame of any kind, but I can see why some people would give up on playing a barb when everyone has become spoiled to the point of requesting a tank that's 20+ lvls higher than necessary so they can have it easy and not worry about aggro, heals, etc.

    I find it extremely weird barbs are scarce,you'd think that would be the class the stupid gravitate towards :O

    vit build axe BMs (the way they should be imho) with alpha male on their pve genies can tank gamma easy... oh if you're trying to use a "rainbow squad" this won't work... so learn to complete the instance with a squad that makes sense.

    Similarly by the time I've single handedly half cleared an FB, they finally show up with wine. If they'd put less coin into teleporting and helped: we'd have been done already. But NO, it HAS to be wined!

    We wait in squad for 30m while someone spams WC for Barb for FF/FC. We end up with low level barb that fails on multi target aggro, ignores bishops on that boss, ignorantly tanks the main boss in the prison, etc just so we can have barb buffs from a Barb that could be better used elsewhere. I end up letting some **** tank that boss while I deal with bishops that are popping up 2 at a time now and they think I'm the bad guy.

    *Need High level Cleric, Barb, and DDs for Jaden Qingfu Plox!

    Most exp barbs I know hate gamma anyway. It's not that they're scarce, it's just they don't want to. If you really need a gamma barb then train a few anyway. In the time it takes to find a gamma barb you could probably have trained one and successfully finished the instance. Let's face it, gamma isn't exactly rocket science.

    It's gotten bad enough that you actually have to bribe barbs now. And since the rainbow squad is gone now, you're really separating the Good people, from the people who just let everyone else carry them. "What do you mean I need MP pots?" *facepalm*

And my HP only dipped once due to lag, fortunately I had solid shield as a backup, then my HP was right back up to normal.

    Turn around after doing my fb and helping out on another run - this time with an 8x barb tanking.. I had to pick up his slack on canceling spells. seriously.. people need to stop judging the class based on a few bad barbs.

    that said, I'm being scarce these days cuz I'm playing psycho and letting my faction catch back up again.

    I'm not playing my barb atm, on my sin, its mroe fun.
    barb is freaking sucky in my opion at 100+, if i had the choice and switch lvls with my barb to assasin i would do it anytime.

    to above poster how sucky was that 9x barbs gear? cos i can solo em alone and they hit like 300-450.. 1k debuffed. it shouldnt touch hp much with 17k at 9x lmao.

    You know, you're pretty much right on all parts. It's the same with all classes, about the judging, though. Take my class, for instance... I get lumped in with the over 9000 "Stupid Venos"... Then again, not EVERYTHING needs a barb, and so many people don't seem to realize that fact. Manta is much easier to tank with a Wizard... So are all the FB 59 bosses... Gamma can be tanked by a BM, and, as most people have figured out, Venos with Hercs are a premium tank for most TT bosses. Barbs are a great class, don't get me wrong, but this situation we're in is ridiculous. Barbs charging for their job, people screaming for hours because they "Need a Barb"... And then getting angry because the barb they happened to get sucks... This is just another reason I'm glad I'm a Veno... At least I can choose not to party with the idiots in this game... Although, with the number of "You can't enter without a squad" places in this game, I get stuck with them anyway.

    I never did it ever. but i know a barb who did it with 2 clerics. wonder why not just the cleric tanked with another healing, but oh well. atleast clamimed in wc he did at 60

    Well, pretty much my entire faction is off being the new classes.

    Which pretty much sucks for getting anything done.

    It'll settle out a bit, some will make the new class their mains, some will keep them as alts.

    I prefer barbs for BH69 but thats just me. Up until BH69, I had my BM husband tank everything. He helped tank a BH69 but the only reason it failed was because other cleric decided they wanted to DD instead of doing their job; purifying and squad healing.

    I also have noticed the lack of barbs around Arch :x
