Arcane Vs light armor

Should I go with Arcane armor or would it hurt to get light Armor, for defence?
Psychic is kind of slow and hits hard but when I get hit, it hurts. I want to make sure that in getting some real nice light armor, it will not mess up my magic attack. Could be too soon but have to ask.

    Light armor is kinda the opposite of what a Psychic is made for...You're gunna lose a huge chunk of the gained defense when you use black voodoo anyways...Defense is almost useless for us. With landslide you shouldn't be getting hit at all really. We're made to be extremely squishy DD's/support it seems.

    I find that the psychic, unless ganked, doesn't really get hit much cept by ranged mobs. Archers will suck yes later on, but by then your black voodoo will be much higher lvl. That can supplement for temporary LA like bonuses. I went full mag not a point into dex/vit and I love it lol got that lvl 22 mold by chance and refined it for kicks. Dmg is awesome

    I rolled LA, and I'm enjoying it. Gonna have a better crit rate down the road too b:victory

    I get hit alot, espically if landslide is still in cool down or misses and monster is fast to run back at you. The ones with high magic resistance are a b**ch to kill. If it wasnt for the charms, i would be dying quite a bit. I'm new to cleric but noticing maybe mix arcane and light armor, depending on what your up against. Wouldnt it be wise to carry both? I dont want to to be too squishy; I'm usually solo.

    Im considering capping my vit at 50. Currently i am pure mag but at 40 im going 3 vit build.

    for now i wear LA and got no problem with it, i can switch to arcane if i want.
    And no class has the fate of being squishy you can make a good character in any class
