Cube of Fate on PWE servers

This would ONLY apply to PvE servers, PvP servers would see no change...

Make a slight change in the Cube of Fate so the PK rooms are only PK mode for those who wish to be in PK mode, i.e. White-named.

A Blue-named player (indicating that he/she doesn't want to participate in PK) would not have to worry about it - except maybe in those two "kill someone to get a die" rooms?

There have been many threads on this topic, one today, even.

Why would PWE make this change?

It would stop the QQing over the sociopaths with nothing better to do than sit in the Cube RPKing everyone trying to make it through. Less tickets for PWE to sift through! b:victory

    Im kind of confused by "PWE", and "PvE".

    PWE = Perfect World Entertainment, no?
    PvE = Player vs environment
    PvP = Player vs Player

    So, are you suggesting that Perfect World Entertainment should change PvE server's Cube of Fate, such that, PK rooms are basically carebear rooms?

    They are saying: if a person wanted to pk they would be white name or play a pk server. If they do not want to pk they should never have to at all.

    Yes, yes, and yes.

    Carebear for those who wish it to be? Yes. If you do not, you'd leave your name blue of course.

    The point is, those who wish to be "Carebear" as you call it, or PVE mode, could remain so. Those who wish to PK could do that, too.

    Misleading title is misleading. PWE servers would include PvP servers as well.

    Thank you for spotting that - I fixed in Body but could not edit Title.

    It is odd that some rooms of the cube are PK-enabled outside of the ones that require it (rooms 14 and 34). The choice over which rooms have it enabled and which do not seems a bit random too.

    As it is there are I think 3 instances where players are forced into PK mode: Dragon Temple, the Cube of Fate, and TW.

    i have to agree with this as ive accidently pk'ed people in cube thinking they were attacking me when in fact they were about to buff me. did it about a month ago a wizzy came to buff and i killed him for it. but also i hate seeing my wife sit and tick her charm using IH over and over cuz she doesnt feel like pk. if she wanted to pk she would be in pk mode. i find pk is better left to TW where it actually has some meaning other than just to have a pissing contest IE: my gear is better than yours or in some cases im 30 lvls higher than you and can 1 shot you wow im so good.

    HEY I HAVE AN IDEA? WHY DONT U CRY MORE, seriously the one thing where i can actually RPK, jsut because u noobs cry about it being RPKable u think they will change it? cube is suppose to be hard, and fun, and being able to pk helps both of those, either kill or be killed, no crying allowed k thanks

    Necro. And a pointless necro at that. If you want to RPK, roll on a PvP server. Don't complain that an opinion and suggestion disagree with yours, no matter how valid either argument is. Go eat something and chill out.
    I shall dominate the Dreamweaver server through the use of Baked goods...and only baked goods.^^[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

    Venomancers are Female. Barbarians are male. It will forever be this way. So suck it up and deal with it already.
