no sound

as the title says....i have no sound at all..
ran verify and it didnt change anything, does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

    im not sure. in fact, i dont even have an audio option at all...
    verify and reinstall did nothing

    did the sound work before?
    or did you just start playing?

    does teh sound work for other programs (to check that your sound card didn't go poof on you)

    also mayhaps you can try to go in game and click the green rubix cube icon on the bottom left, then click the System Tab, and raise the volume and see if that works.

    the last verify fixed it, not sure why but i didnt even have the options to turn up volume before. ty for the response

    Having same problem. I used to have sound but suddenly it quit on me after I let my kid use it to play the game. tried clicking on green cube and changing setting but no luck
