Where are the sirens? My veno wants one.
Also, I wish the fire golems were tameable as well. I got the ice one but I want the fire one too! b:cry0 -
Updated my comparison pic so all three pets are level 19 and tame loyalty. Don't have time for the sawfly and skatefish right now.0

Hmmm...I'm trying to decide between keeping my Dark Wanderer, or as I like to call him...my "RingWraith" b:chuckle, or when I get to 19 to swap him out for a Glacial Walker. Both seem quite good and the extra accuracy on the Wanderer makes me kinda want to keep him. Looking at the stats on both though I don't know which to keep now. b:sad0

HeHe Bump Bump.
I want to ask the same.
My plans now to trash my Magmite and start a Glacial Walker ( or the fire type golem next to them ) lvl up as a main pet as my golem was.
And as a 2nd pet get a Seamonster Guardian as a Dungeon runner pet cuz he survive magic AOE better then my golem.
Or just stay with the Magmite.
I would keep your Mag untill you lvl up the Glacial one depending on where you are playing.Lv 22 Cloud Skatefish (664 175) (sky) | Image | Growth | Skills
Thanks to both parties for providing this info.0 -

dark wanderer: 204*.8 = 163.2 DPS
glacial walker: 232*.6 = 139.2 DPS
Add in Bash 2 (or Icicle 2) which technically you can't give to the wanderer until level 20, but I figure 19 is close enough, with a 1.5 sec cast time:
dark wanderer: (8*204*.8 + 1.55*204)/9.5 = 170.7 DPS
glacial walker: (8*232*.6 + 1.55*232)/9.5 = 155.1 DPS
So the dark wanderer actually outdamages the golems at level 19/20. Probably outdamages the scorpion too. It looks like the wanderer's attack growth is one notch lower, so it'll probably fall behind the golems and scorp eventually. I'm not sure if it really is one notch lower. My laptop screen is too small to really tell.0 -
Hmmmm I wonder if the Armored Arrowfish would be a better attack water pet than any of the mermaids or undines out there? (water nix perhapse)
And rats it has an attack speed of 0.60...........was hoping for 0.80.
Also means the lowest level of water pet is any of the level 5 turtles.0 -
great list! and so helpful! thank you
but has anyone seen any mechacrabs?? i've been hoping so much that more would be put out with this patch. there are a bunch listed in the AH, so its logical that they will be out someday, along with many other pets listed there and in the database.
please devs? can we have more pets?Scutillette - Sanctuary wrote: »Here's a list of all the new tamable monsters I've encountered in the new areas, with pics. Not a lot, but the good news is that they're all completely new models.

cant anyone sticky this one?0 -
so is the Armored Arrowfish a better water pet than the lvl 5 turtle or the plumbfish?0
-
Nope. At 91 (since that's your level), ~2694 hp, ~7184 physical def, ~7184 mag def, ~2627 attack (.6/sec) for the arrowfish. A turtle would be ~2944 hp, ~8456 physical def, ~7248 mag def, ~2875 attack (.6/sec). The speed difference should be negligible as well.
My thoughts lately are to take a water pet as you need it while leveling, if you use 1 water pet at higher levels go with a plumpfish, if you use two go with a turtle/undine mystic combo. The Undine Mystic is looking to be a good water pet the more I look at it. Solid magic resist, about 10% more physical taken than a plumpfish (38% vs 35%), fast, good hp, and the second best dps (turtles are better). Being a level 87 tame contributes to that speed and makes it a bit convenient leveling wise too.0 -
I really love the Dark Wanderer, cause it looks amazing, I wanted to use it as a luring pet, but finally I recognized that even my herc is faster than it. How can a pet on a horse be that sloooow???0

Jazheera - Sanctuary wrote: »I really love the Dark Wanderer, cause it looks amazing, I wanted to use it as a luring pet, but finally I recognized that even my herc is faster than it. How can a pet on a horse be that sloooow???
Because the horse has hemorrhoids and the rider has saddle rash.0 -
Does anyone know if there's a good GROUND pet that has higher stats than the Scorpion? I seriously need a PK/DD pet besides Herc and the Scorp is fugly =[0

id say a herc with claw??? XD but that d mean a second herc,... n thats kinda a lot of money when u can use scorpion too,... (if its for dd purpose when soloing id say herc with atk/pdef/mdef/bramble buffs, and no bash,... that d be the best DD i think in TT n such,... though if ur not soloing and theres other DDs than ur herc wont keep agro unless they let it hit a while before going in,...)0 -

That depends on the stat you're looking for. If you're looking for pure attack then no. If you're looking at damage/sec then a herc. If you're looking at survival then many, same with speed.
Any low level pet you take is going to be slow since speed growth doesn't really work properly. Try a glacial walker? They have high attack (FR from one of them would really hurt), almost the same damage/sec as a scorpion, are large so may mess up your opponents targeting, and high survival. They're slow though.0 -
Hi me and my friend encountered a Glacial Breaker, not a Walker. He dropped lots of loot but we never seen one since, could he been a rare?0

Doubtful. Rares aren't known for dropping much in the way of loot. Could have been a miniboss. What kind of loot did it drop?0
