Is Pyrogram supposed to lag?

Whenever I hit a monster with Pyrogram ( my only skill, im level 3) it gets hit, shows the red damage, but the damage doesnt affect his hp bar for a couple of seconds. Same goes with killing it with Pyrogram. Damage is supposed to kill it, but it keeps running after me/hitting me for a couple seconds before it dies. Its not regular lag because when i use melee, the damage affects its hp bar immediately and it dies when its supposed to. So .... Is Pyrogram supposed to be like this? If not, anyone know whats going on?

That's been happening with my psychic occasionally. Probably some glitch that came with the patch.0

Can't be ping because he/she already said that melee doesnt lag like pyro.
On topic though, I think it could possibly be a glitch on you because my pyro doesn't lag like that b:surrender0 -

well same for me, its not some seconds, its max 1 second for pyrogram to me.
Lets say mob has 1hp left and is next to me, i hit it whit
GUSH=its dead, mob dosent have time to hit me
pyrogram=mob takes dmg, manages to hit me once, then dies. Not any other skill lags for me, onyl pyrogram.
And its not the cast animation, its after the mob got DMGed, it still walks around for like 0.5 to 1sec. And thats enough for it to hit me.0 -

There are two types of spells really. Spells that instantly hit your target and then spells that have to travel to your target. Spells that instantly hit it are ones like gush, stone rain, sandstorm (stone rain and sandstorm not really instant, but they are pretty fast). Spells that have to travel are like pyrogram, divine pyrogram, and glacial snare.
You cast gush on someone, the effect appears ontop of them immediately and they take the damage immediately. You cast pyrogram on someone, they don't take damage until the effect reaches them. Lets take a scenario on someone has almost no life yet and you are both flying in the air. You cast gush and they start to drop as you cast it, but it hits them immediately and kills them. Now if you used pyrogram instead of gush it would chase them as they drop and it would give their charm time to tick. Its why I use pitfall to finish people when my gush is on cooldown because pitfall will hit them immediately, pyrogram won't.
That is why mobs hit you after you cast pyrogram but not with gush.0 -

Sure, that may be true, but I think they mean after Pyrogram makes contact. I'm guessing it's some kind of programming glitch that has some form of bad timing. Since it's a spell that has to time damage with animation, the glitch causes the timing of the damage take place some time after the animation hits the mob. I've noticed the glitch myself. My other guess is that the animation for pyrogram was originally supposed to be slower than it actually is, but since there weren't many to either notice it, whether it was they blamed it on lag, or some other problem that could either come from their comp or modem, the problem was never fixed correctly.(☞゚ヮ゚)☞

I outran a plume shot with holy path and jumped in the water. It still hit me, but I didn't heal like the water mobs do, so I died even though I couldn't hit the cleric from the water... QQRIP Resolve. You guys still owe me TW pay. XD
