Axe or Sword better for Solo gameplay?

Just wondering whether Axes/Hammers or Swords will help me level faster alone. Also, I dont know if this is true, but I heard theres a type of PVP that has a bunch of people instead of 1 vs 1. I think I remember it being called FW or something. Which weapon is better for that type of PVP? (I hate 1 vs 1 PVPb:angry) .... so erm, any input would be appreciated. ;)

    Axes/Hammers will typically let you level faster. You can AOE grind much more efficiently than swords.

    And yes, the mass PVP you're thinking of is Territory War (TW). I'm not too experienced in that, so I can't give much feedback. But from the videos I've seen, axes are most often used as well for their AOEs.

    I can second the part on axes, especially for TW, but people generally use the axes for Heaven's Flame in TW unless they have some wickedly upgraded axes they generally hotkey through their arsenal. *cough* Certain BMs I know are very fond of their GX Fists.

    And yes, most BMs go multi-path with their weapons, at least the ones I know.

    Swords are for 1 vs 1 PvP.
    Axes are better in groups.

    id say most common is first levelup yer axe-skills(and axe itself ofc) coz the aoe and coz HF is very much a wonderful skill,... n than go for fists since they kick **** in dps when some minus interval gear is equipped,... and they gain chi very fast,... (so than swap weaps to put in some aoes, n go back to fists for chibuilding)

    1 thing i hav noticed that is very effective is usin Heavens Flame for its Amp then switchin to fist and ripping apart while amp is inplace..

    Actually, I find that using 2x or 3x spark is more effective for fist then using HF since sparks last longer.

    definetly axe. AOE grinding was amazing lol. i aoe grinded 60-87 but then ty god FF came and i started doing that right away. but Axes definetly because of the many aoe skills they use. so just pop a charm on, some alter marrow phys, and off u go. ^_^
