Do BM's suck at this lvl?

I am lvl 41 atm with axe build (cept I think I have too much dex -.-). I find myself getting my **** kicked when I try to grind lofties (not to mention I have to spam pots just to stay alive). So my question is, do BMs suck at this lvl or am I doing something wrong?

    You must be doing something wrong =P Not being mean, i'm serious, my bm uses fists and he's your level =P And i never need pots

    ^fists kill faster and can cancle spells so their a better grind weapon for maq mobs

    at the OP dex is your freind...so is vit i suppose

    When i use axes, I'm potting every 2 mobs. When i fist, I use one magic pot every 10-15 mobs (budda heal is too good :)). If i have cleric buffs, I don't pot at all.
    Navarre was your everyday veno, until she learned her true form. Now she's fox walloping and purging over and over again.. all for a deep stinging, head hunting, wind pushing Assassin.     Also try to get a cleric buff before you start grinding.

    Yeah BMs suck the most during low to mid levels. Once you get to 60 and can start aoe grinding you'll love it. All I can advise is finding a cleric buddy or using aeolian blade to try and cancel magic mobs initial attack. Or if you want to save money, buy life powders, and use those instead. Health goes up pretty fast when you meditate with life powders, and you're only losing a little bit of time while saving a lot of pots

    At your level I used these two skills most. Aelion Blade and Draw blood maxed for my level. Depending on mob you open with one or the other.

    Magic mob AB > DB **** away. Regular mob DB > AB(which you can skip if you want) **** away. archer mob DB, they will run a set amount of times. And when stunned it resets their run count.

    Most Magic mobs are mixed. Meaning when you get in range they switch to physical. Using this method I could grind through mobs real fast using sutra to heal when needed.

    I know how you feel man i hated going through thta lvl range but once you hit 60 you will love it lol i love using all the Aoes that are avaialbe at this lvl hell if ya have the money when you reach this area id try mixing weapons if ya can i prefer using Sword and Spear but that is my preferance :3, but like everyone else has said here try using skills that help you out more and ones you can use to mob like bleed and aeolin blade wishing ya the best at hunting ^^

    actually for me BM sucked only in lvl 2x and then in the tusk town and king's feast quests part, as it had pure magic + mana stealing mobs for some quests b:shocked

    Use a life powder and then try again. Helps a lot and those are cheap too.

    Thanks for all the tips. :D I went out and got whatever fist I had enough DEX for (lvl 23 ><) and tried killing a few magic mobs. It was great! I'm gonna get a restat soon and go for fist build (or maybe sword, idk yet). b:victory
