A new server, 2 new races and a chance to be equal with the greats, or is it?

Within 24 hours we have level 80s on Raging Tide, a new server was meant to make us all equal, but now it's clear that PWE does not care about the non-cash shop players, and they've proven it right here and now.

Here's things I've noticed that makes me say Rising Tide was also rushed:

I am unable to cancel my channeling on my Psychic (not playing an assassin)
All the quests have everything right next to the dispatcher
THERE'S NO DUNGEON FOR 19!
There's bugged quests
the entire TB area lags like there's no tomorrow (nothing else does)
only 3 TT weapons? What gives?


I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them right now, I'm busy hauling **** to catch up with these level 80s..

    Also the Nirvanna weapons are way unbalance, basically making TT100's useless because they are now weak

    u can make the nirvanna weapon with with cheap TTgold so TT100 sucks now

    people waste money on bestlucktokens or coins to buy the TT100 =/

    Also consider Lunar weps Alot cheaper now and people spent hundred$ on them

    On the bugged quests, I think the lvl 19 culti told me to go see the Taoist in Plume lol.

    Havent had the channeling problem yet that I know of
    I'm glad all the quests have everything right next to the dispatcher I dont like running all the time
    Dont really care about an fb19 dungeon.
    West Arch doesnt lag for you?
    3 TT weapons should have been fine for a couple weeks if it werent for Oraclers

    don't even get me started on the economy.. 200k gold on RT (most of us are level 20-40)

    but but but i thought the biggest argument for a new server was that it would "fix" the economy. too bad everyone with a brain knew this would happen when a new server was opened.

    simple unbalance of player skill level, cash + oracles, and time allocation is going to make RT just like any other sever.

    Why does this seem to surprise so many of you? Big news flash folks: if you do not donate to the game, you are NOT the ones keeping it alive. PWI is a business made for the sole purpose of making money. If fun can be had along the way great. But I assure you the bottom line still comes down to profit.

    Are you the kinda person that goes to a free soup kitchen then tries to sue them for food poisoning? ...........b:bye

    they don't bother fixing bugs, and not even one month could this new server be left untouched. let the players play the damn game. they made a business of hosting a game, but they're made it near-impossible to play wthout spending loads of money. and if the casting bug isn't fixed by the next patch I'm going to be pissed.

    and I would actually contribute to PWE if they contruibted time and effort to fix what's wrong with the game.

    and to answer your question: I'm the kind that avoids the kitches at all. I work for what I get.

    Honestly we all figured this **** out at the beginning of HL and DW. In the end you will find the oracle levelers dont matter, unless youre super obsessed with ebing the highest level first. They will just be the first high lvls ( so cool) , with noone else to do instances with or any other high lvl quests. just level up with your friends and before you know it you will catch up with the oraclers. I mean its not like 60-90 takes long anyways.

    3 very minimal areas I cleared in 4 hours.. I've only found about 6 pets to tame, and well, public quest.. I got nothin.. (not bothered trying it, nor am I level to aparently)

    It's interesting; the way things have worked out. I need to make a list of bugs I find so I can post them in Tech Support.
    PWI has been about money since before the Anni packs. I have not accepted, nor do I like that, but the fact remains that it's been like this for some time. The oracles more or less may have been meant for the players making TB's on the older servers so they could level out fast if they cared too. I'm sure some of the level 90+ players are ecstatic about being able to buy these things as I hear the exp required to get from level 100 to 101 is more than one has to earn from level 1 to 60 grand total.
    I've never really had an issue with Oracle Levelers because they have ultimately taken all the actual gameplay out of their game. 90% of PWI is actually getting to where you want to go, after you have what you want.... what is there? You can PK, you can TW.... but that's about it at the end of it all. This game seems to be based on wanting and getting; once you have what you want, there's nothing left so I suppose what I' saying is that an oracler's time on the game is; well.... rather short. Let alone the lack of satisfaction.

    EDIT: And I'm lost.... I swear I saw EatWithSpoons say that the Nirvana weapons don't change stat wise, only appearance. How can a weapon that doesn't change in power be unbalanced? Unless I missed some info about new weaponry...

    Raging tide server's highest level that I can see in the rankings is a 63 at the time of this post... Nuala, a venomancer. Try QQing about reality

    It wouldn't have happened if PWI hadn't started selling oracles in the cashshop the same day they opened RTb:victory

    a piece of advice:

    You dont have to keep up witn anyone unless you want to play 24/7 plus cash.

    Its the same story everytime we get a new server. If you look all treads when the previus servers came up. You will see.

    Don't worry about high levels of the new TB. Enjoy your game, learn your skills, and don't worry about Oracles nuubs. You knew something like this will happen xD

    All in all, yes PW cares only about their cash shoppers. But what PWI can't give you is an amazing set of people to play with and your own fun and memories made by playing this game. If you didn't have those, then you obviously still wouldn't have been here.

    I wouldn't trade the fun times I had on this game with my guildies and friends for any of the Anni packs, Lunar weapons, power rankings, etc. My leveling wasn't for "power". All of my friends that left cause of problems like this, I miss you <3

    OP, don't work so hard trying to catch up with the other players who book their way through. Enjoy the game for yourself. Regardless if you spend money or not.

    its some sort of lag hapened to me today too...but i somehow ruberbanded back to my location lol(was in fb59 on the way to zimo)

    OK first off, yes PWE caters to cash shoppers, but if they didn't they would have no income hence this game would not be free to play, how would you like that?
    second off while I don't necessarily agree with them releasing the oracles so early, it dose help get high level people so that lower levels get stuff done that might be rather hard.

    This is all old news.

    RT was not made to fix the economy and it was not made to give everybody a fair chance. This is proven by the fact oracles were released into the cash shop. You thought they wanted to encourage equality? You fools.

    They wanted to encourage you to put gold on the new server and buy all those oracles!

    Better yet: it worked!

    Now that we have all played right into the sly and witty hands of PWE, perhaps we can stop the pointless QQ? Just go and play the game - you can still enjoy bits of it.

    My gf played an hour of game last night while I was asleep, as a result she's a level higher than me. Please ban her account.

    I swear. The GMs could come out to your house tomorrow, set up your own private server, give you all current and future cash shop items for free, and bring you a free puppy and you'd still QQ about the color of the puppy.

    I've been playing this game since last february, have 6 different characters and I'M STILL HAVING FUN!!!!1! Thank you GMs, devs and forum mods for providing me with some entertainment in my life.

    Enough reading nonsense for me, I'm going back to leveling my new ring wraith.

    ok so some replies to comments made obout my post:

    channeling has nothing to do with lag, and I was not lagging.
    the quests, well, play 5 levels of tb and see what I mean (maybe 10)
    bugged quest: something-or-other fins (0/0) <just one example
    the entire area is laggy, not just populated answers



    and I'd kill for 200k gold on DW, it should NOT be that high on RT yet

    i read earlier in this thread about a tideborn mentioning the lvl 20 Qingzi quest.

    imo that quest is to counter act the no fb instance with the tideborn race. its not hard to find a squad to do it with all u need is a faction or even random people are doing tideborn runs because so many people need it.

    i mean its a run where u stand back, attack the boss alittle and if ur lucky get a mold as a reward whats to complain about that

    A faction mate who hitted lv30 mentionned that hercule trioc was on his kill list. Look like they didn't mess with any old boss' drop.b:chuckle
