im angry of waiting 6 hours and CANT do the update... NOTHING WORK! it wont install elementskills.dll and say the t ry again message... THIS need to be fixed... almost every update i need to wait very long.... fix it plz! i cant update! and i want to play PLZ help....

Yes it is normal. By normal I mean within all of the people getting the expansion, blah blah generic techy stuff.
Download the manual patch here: http://pwi-ns.perfectworld.com/patches/manual/ec_patch_217-233.cup
It'll be much easier to download.
The autoupdater should get back to normal when the traffic lowers.[sigpic][/sigpic]LOVE

it doesnt work! b:cry maybe do ppl now understand why i hate this expansion? im wasting my whole day here to get that stupid update and nothing work.... and my friend told me the haircut of ur char changed... so im getting crazy here... u have to do something or im never gonna play this game again... then private server so PLZ help!

Calm down, one day without perfect world is not going to end your life. I'm sure the GMs are working onthe problem. Please be patient.
By the way, I was wondering what folder to save the patch too. The Perfect World folder, or a certain one in Perfect World/Program Files?0 -
Doesn't matter where you save the manual patch to. If the game is installed, you should be able to just double click on it, and let it apply itself.
You have to be connected to the internet during this process, because at the end it verifies the game version.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

you can try to change the update settings to patch 1 or patch 2

In my opinion... And this is just my idea - try removing PW (uninstalling), and reinstalling PW all over again. It sucks, yeah I know. But if there's no other way, this might work.0 -
