Uh oh! Update went wrong.

I just got this game and already I had to sit through another long wait before I could really play! How disappointing! It's even more disappointing because I left the updater running and now I think my anti-spyware deleted the elemental.exe file (is that what it's called? I saw people talking about it and I couldn't locate it in my folder) without my consent and now it won't launch the client.

Can anyone be a doll and send me the file? b:chuckle

Edit: Would verifying it help instead?

    have you tryed useing patch_1 in were the settings are? im doing that right now.

    I'm new, so I'm kind of clueless about what I'm doing. Right now I'm verifying it on Patch_1. Is that what you meant?

    The funny thing is I don't even have an antivirus software/firewall and the file still disappears.

    Now I'm waiting for my friend to wake up to send it to me. If it works. I'll upload it for you guys too. Unless someone is nice enough here to upload theirs.

    Btw it's called elementclient.exe in the Element folder. Around 5 MB big.

    sorry files are not working right for some unknown reason it just wont down load.


    P.S its was soo close tho then it said it dident work. sorry if i wasn't much help

    I'm not expecting it to, but I suppose doing it will make me feel better. I've already waited two hours and it'll probably be another hour before it finishes. Gee, what's with all these long waits?

    But 24 hours for a simple update gone wrong is a bit ridiculous.. I woke up at like 5 am for this update and I haven't gotten to play the game all day, it's now 8:30 pm...You can understand how angry I am right now.

    Ahh, I posted this on 3 threads lol. BUt here it is again :

    As I said on other threads, the game still crashes everytime. So I still haven't been able to fix the problem.
