I dunno. I get the feeling that in order for that to work, we have to see the assassin. Otherwise we just get surprise butt-sexed.

In lieu of the assassin anti-death skill, I have created a new combo.

    Quickshot -> Normal attack -> b:surrender

Why don't we just straight up barrage them? :) It's a continuos strong attack, so even if they use the anti-1shot skill and regain 20% hp, they'd still die soon b:victory

Edit: Nvm, forgot about their Tele-Stun skill.........UGH this is gonna be hard... b:surrender

Wings of Grace eliminates all of their stunning abilities.

Anti-stun does not mean anti-death (just like BM's or WB's), and sins aren't in stealth 24/7. Most times people don't see a stun coming, and you'd be a fool to fight melee on the ground (although I'd like to see how their teleport skill works in the air).

Stun (or sharptooth) for the 10% crit buff > quickshot > and still dead. Light Armors (unless you drop $2k+ into refines and stones) die pretty quickly, just ask any archer.

If they get the jump on you and tele-stun (what's the range on it?) or whatever, absolute domain as they try to use their 2nd or 3rd skill, then dew of god's protection or 6-sec immunity if needed, and then elven alacrity away once free to move :)

With Assassins running around, it'd be an utter shame not to have some really powerful close range skills. As a sage archer, I think I might have to re-evaluate the priority of acquiring sage deadly shot. b:victory

Wouldn't you be better off using Wingspan and Winged Pledge?

Well, there was a guy in General asking about TB Sage and Demon books before the release.
If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

Plus, assassins are Light Armor. That means Lightning Strike/Thunder Shock should work just fine.

You're right-- I would first do a lightning combo, but then I'd deadly shot past their charm.

Doesn't using all of that just drag the fight on longer? The assassin can use pots as well and could always get away and wait for cd.
Imo, apoth pots are way too complicated a factor for making theoretical situations.

I don't really like the new Tideborn.

Assassins are like little fake copy ninjas of us

They're degrading our power and name

You were quoting a situation where the assassin made the first move. Defensive pots extend your survival rates against whatever skills the assassin uses, which will then be on cooldown as you holy path away to make space. What pots would the assassin use after he stuns you to make you die any faster that would counter dew of god or immunity? None that I could think of..

Pots are easy to factor in, there's only a few that really see heavy usage.
