    I'm going to need some more information from you about your computer.

    Find out what the model number for your PC is. Check the documentation that came with your PC, or look on the back or bottom of your PC for the model Number.

    Please tell us the manufacturer's name of your system too! (Like HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc.)

    Next, go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Vista/7), and type in dxdiag and press enter.

    Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:
    dxdiag.jpg

    Thanks!

    i cant print screen it onto here...

    1) print screen when error comes up

    2) ctrl+v in mspaint, then save as .jpg file type

    3) upload to tinypic or imageshack (tinypic link: LINK)

    4) copy/paste the direct link here, using the IMG bbcode

    OK, since you sent me your dxdiag via PM... Basically, you don't have any drivers installed. The link you need should be this one:
    http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_3600.html

    Select "Chipset + VGA Driver ATI Ver.8.251" from the first dropdown menu, then install what it downloads.

    refer to red text...

    how is that even possible O_o;

    last i checked, drivers are what allows your hardware to function, without any drivers... the piece of hardware shouldnt even be usable, right?

    Drivers are pieces of software installed into Windows, so even if you don't have drivers installed for anything you will always be able to load Windows at the very least. Windows also has a set of (extremely) basic graphic drivers integrated into it.

    But yes, you're right. Without the drivers, the hardware won't function, which is precisely what's happening here.
