Here's a list of all the new tamable monsters I've encountered in the new areas, with pics. Not a lot, but the good news is that they're all completely new models.

Major credit goes to Peritia for posting stats for most of the pets.

    I adore the Cloud Skatefish -- too cute to not have! Wish jellyfish was tamable too...

    Also nabbed one of those reaper looking guys on the black horse. :) Worked on him a bit in Cube but too tired now. XD...might update here on stats later on should no one else beat me to it. >:P

    I've noticed a bit of an anomaly with one of those pets. When you tame an Ebony Hellduke, it turns into a Seamonster Guardian pet. Which looks very similar, but in some ways, completely different than the hellduke I tamed. b:cry

    Yeah, that was weird. I thought a mod deleted it, but I also had trouble seeing posts last night, so maybe it's just server overload.

    Could you post a picture?

    I personally tamed a Siren and an Arrowfish- plan on getting a Skatefish as well once I need a flying pet. Both turned into eggs with different names than the original monster (Ocean Chanter and Wicked Teeth respectively), but as far as I can tell they look the same when summoned.

    i think you missed the "Imprisoned Wraith" .. I tamed one on my veno last night, stats were horrible but it looked really cool. It was level 18 on the same island as ragin tide city.

    You mean the Iceprison Wraith? Yeah, apparently I missed that corner of the island. Added to the OP- I can't check if it's tamable on my Veno right now, but I'll take your word for it ;)

    got that flying fish, has same graph as sawfly except it has less speed and bad skills

    There have been several new baby pets shown in various previews, but I don't know about rare pets. If there is, finding it would be pure luck- with all the players running around someone would probably kill it off real quick :P

    When I'm home in a few days I'll update my database with them so there's stats (including attack now, yay!) and even default skill dps calculations at all levels for every pet.

    probably, well the spawn time is around 3 server time (west server time) so if anyone happens to see an odd looking pet running around post about it x3. someone is bound to notice it eventually if it exists...me and a friend were hoping for a rare fish.

    yeah, they are cute! i caught a couple-one for my daughter, one for myself. and ran around the city in trueform, with my 'baby pancake fish' floating along behind me. freaked a lot of the TBs, because they hadnt yet seen the air mobs, and venos kept stopping me to ask his stats.

    way more fun to be a veno last night, than a TB!

    Interesting to compare the growth on the magmite vs. walker vs. ranger:

    The glacial walker is equal or better in all respects than a magmite. Same attack, pdef, evasion, accuracy, and regen. Better hp, speed and mdef. The magmite has slightly higher attack and pdef, but since they have the same growth in those categories, the difference will remain constant and therefore represent a smaller and smaller percentage difference as you get to higher levels.

    The shadow ranger/dark wanderer has atk and pdef nearly as good as the magmites. Its mdef is worse, and its hp is mediocre, but it's a strong contender for the role of physical tank if you want to be different from the gazillion other venos with a magmite. It moves a lot faster, and is really cool looking.

    The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the starter skill of the dark wanderer(tough/roar/pierce) was that it was designed for helping melee veno(HA/LA battle fox or human form for the more aventurous one). Use pierce obviously, and fire off roar when you went it to tank for you.

    But now that I see his stat chart and his speed, it may also be used to save squishy with roar faster than a magmite could.

    I'm kinda dispointed in the growth chart of the two new female pet. While the voodooist has some use, the siren is just a show off pet since it can hardly tank something. Even a battle fox would find little use in her, since shriek is hard to time right from my little experience with a florafang guard.

    Cloud Skatefish is a clone of the sawfly
    Glacial Walker is a clone of the magmites

    I have been raising my dark wanderer to lv 26 and I have noticed that it loses aggro really easily. I often find myself chased by the mob and need to use the roar attack so my pet can get the aggro back. But apart from that the dark wanderer is a really cool pet. What makes me wonder though is if it is worth the effort? (and yea my veno is lv 26, its only the icon that shows of a cleric instead for some reason)

    Since people who are more experienced with pets than I am are reviewing the new pets, what do you think of the ones that haven't been mentioned yet? Tunneldigger, the two Gnomes, and Hellduke.

    I want to ask the same.

    My plans now to trash my Magmite and start a Glacial Walker ( or the fire type golem next to them ) lvl up as a main pet as my golem was.

    And as a 2nd pet get a Seamonster Guardian as a Dungeon runner pet cuz he survive magic AOE better then my golem.

    Or just stay with the Magmite.
