Hey! You money obsessed GM's. Heres a lesson about Fairness in Leveling!The infamous Oracle Books are here too! We're offering books 1 through 15 in packs of 5. Using one of these items will give you a quest that awards massive experience when it is completed!
Oracle I (5) $1.00
Oracle II (5) $1.10
Oracle III (5) $1.20
Oracle IV (5) $1.40
Oracle V (5) $1.50
Oracle VI (5) $1.60
Oracle VII (5) $1.80
Oracle VIII (5) $1.90
Oracle IX (5) $2.00
Oracle X (5) $2.20
Oracle XI (5) $2.40
Oracle XII (5) $2.60

Grinding, Crazy stone, World quest, Cube, Bounty hunter, JQ's, FQ's, FB's, Double EXP weekends, FrostCovered City. And so on!
All of which, I do to gain my EXP. FAIRLY and HONESTLY!
The level I am at now, I am proud of. I earned every Exp with my own effort and never used excessive amounts of damned Oracles to cheat my way to the top.
But THIS sale is just encouraging these people to cheat thier way past all the honest players on this game. Have you ever thought about how us honest players feel? Like me for example?
I worked my **** off to get to this level, and knowing that people spend not even close to the amount of time i spent, Using freakin Oracles to level.
Without hardly any work or effort at all.
Its Damn sickening, it disgusts me!
I'm sure that many people will agree with me. I know they feel the exact same way I do.
Take the freakin Oracles off the bloody CS, and make the game FAIR for all players. If you don't We're gonna have a bunch of lvl 105 ****ing Noobs who dont know how to play the game properly because all they have EVER done in this game, Is oracle their way to the top while blowing cash out their ****.
Don't you people have enough cash as it is? <_< *CoughAnniPacksCough*
Do us all this one favor, I didnt mind the Anni packs too much.. Just made me jealous because nearly everyone has better gear than I do.
But do us ALL the favor of making this game just a LITTLE bit fairer to people like me, who gain their Exp the NORMAL and FAIR way.

Yeah i understand others money & my own because i am some what of a cash shop user, make this game free.. But i only agree to it to a certain extent.. Hell i was ok with the anni packs to an extent, the gear, all the amazing weapons were fine i didnt give a flying hoot! But the oracles were nub and annoying.. I cant say i haven't used a couple but i havent used massive amounts to get 10-50 or more lvls O_O thats just insane.. Work for your character, put an effort into it.. So when you do get high lvl you can be proud of yourself not proud of your money

I'm confused as to why people like you dislike things like this. It keeps the game free for you.
Every item in the cash shop except for fashion items helps people level up, although not all items are so transparent as the Oracles.
Example: faster mount bought through cash shop, level faster. I won't go on. Should they remove everything in the cash shop that isn't fashion?
If you want to play a game that is "fair" go play another game. IMO, fair is spending what money you can on the game, you earned it in real life somehow. If you decide to spend it on the game instead of car insurance or whatnot (I don't even have a car
) then that is fair.
The point of the game is to have fun. Just because someone uses oracles to level up doesn't take away any of the pride you have in your character that you leveled without cash. You will always know what went into it. Be proud of that.0 -
What about the people that have already played each class to 80+ and know the mechanics of how to adapt to how your current class's functions, ofc its unfair to those that do leveling the good old fashion way, but this game is run by people who use cs so theres no point in QQing.0

I think in a week or two time and I squad for a BH100 and find that the squad contains some of the new classes, I will be extremely frustrated (putting it very mildly).

I'm not against ppl choosing to spend thier money on oracles but It's not entirely fair, I never had the option to just buy my level whether I could afford it or not. The only option I had was to invest my time in grinding/questing and doing instances. Thats the source of my frustrations0 -

PWI is greedy company and this is just another way to make money. New classes came and ppl with theyr parents card will buy oracles just to be 1st to reach highest lvl. Too bad that now u can buy everything if u have money. Even high lvl. There is no more fairness is u dont buy gold...
In a week we will have all tideborns lvl80+. Oracles have theyr own disadvantages but if ppl able to buy them, they can solve them without problems.
Off topic: I'm a litle bit dissapointed.. Me, in secret, expected to see Christmas event with this expansion. PWi, u hear me? An EVENT (not another weekly sale which is not by any means an event).

hmmm... This oracle sale has me reconsidering my ideas about "ethical gaming."
Seems like a noisy majority of forum-goers (and this is by no means specific to PW) view items like this-- buying levels as something contradictory to the purpose of the game; it puts a price tag on our characters, and while buying/selling account logins is illegal, buying the levels for a free character is not...
Well yah... I'ma keep thinking about this before I decide if it's "good" or "bad." Maybe it's neither, I personally am looking forward to seeing rep. candies in the boutique because I plan to get rank8 on kannon next year, is this unethical? Probably should be if buying Exp is, but I don't see it that way...

i agree with rawrz 100% although the people that actually play their chars instead of oracles their way to the top will have the ultimate advantage. Even now i see this that there are barbs out there that are level 90+ and still dont know how to play there char, ive seen lvl 70's i much rather team with then lvl 100 because they actually know the full potential of their toon. Btw to all the people that plan on leveling there charachter with oracles at a fast pace, i wish you the best of luck learning skills with very little spirit b:laugh Lets face it there is nothing we can do when it comes to pwi making money, and as far as the game being free, with the amount of money they made off of anniversary packs it should keep it free for up to a year if you notice stocks at all, their profit margin was huge.0

to people who complain about cash shops: If these items didnt exists u would not be playing this game, do u realize how much money it takes to keep this game running, im pretty sure maintaining ONE server costs them more than ull make in years. lol you know what? You made a point and you didn't even know it. They won't know how to play their class, which means they'll eventually ragequit/you'll own them in PvP XD PWI gets their money, insuring the game's survival, and maybe eventually clears out some n00bs. This could be good in the long run. Not saying I have a problem with oracles, but it's definitely n00bish to level your toon ONLY with oracles. There's no pride in that.0
