well, as proof of concept, a veno can do it at 19. Kinda' hard with magmite, a breeze with herc. Will take about 4 hours, but can be done.

wizard was never a class meant to solo and it is by far the least capable class of soloing..

Our jop is simple we are only there to kill things while you heal, pull, tank, or HF for OUR killing power to increase..

weither you like it or not Wizard does make a diffrence in a party and makes the 4 hours run a 2.5 hours one.
    Is Back once more.

sorry med school needs some time.

"Yeah after level 60 when all the mobs use magic not physical attacks "

News for you even at 60's there are quest mobs which hit PH and Ranged PH so your statement failed. Example : Swamp Raiders, Rattus Archers, Kugulan Centries , Towerlings near WraithGates. At 80's PH mobs kinda make trouble for LA mages especially ( way too fat to avoid at least 1-2 hits unless lucky crit chain).

Now to the topic : gee if i wouldn't like my wizard would i even play it.

With stone shield in your order:
Knockback + FoW + Gush = never touches you
a bit of a problem, just kill fast
    knockback + FoW + Gush = doesn't touch you
Blink ontop of them and you half they're dmg

And wiz is damn hell alot better solo'er than archer. Atleast we have a heal and good defences in 1 of the 2 types of dmg (magic)b:chuckle

Done as my wiz at 32. No luring genie, just lots, and lots of Hailstorm/gush. And pots. Lots and lots of pots.

    You solo'd fb19 at level 66.......

Well actually first time I tried was at level 63, I managed to do it but just barely

i think he meant it's shame to solo fb 19 at lvl 66 for wiz b:chuckle while most can solid solo at 35+ also i saw some dude managed to do so at lvl 30 ( he also posted screenshots of doing it) .b:victory

Really? I never knew you could at 30, I never really tried, would probably be a fail fest for a wiz though

I know a veno can solo it, after all on my veno thats exactly what I did with a Volcanic Magmite took me about 5 hours but hey I did it

Cant you just say that its hard to ever think about switching?

I personally never thought of that. I'm pretty dedicated to this class. I know it's the hardest one, I mean if you slip for just one second then there's a 90+% chance that you'll die. But the amount of damage you can make really compensates. I've been in squads with players almost 10 lvls higher then me but i still did the most damage.

Besides when you die like 5 times/lvl you begin to get used to it b:chuckle
Every time I happen to die everyone around me goes like "Oh darn are you ok?...you're gonna lose exp..." and I'm like "What's the big deal? I just died, nothing else. If I go to town it will just take me one minute to come back, np" b:laugh

Why you coming back? You don't have cleric? If you are in squad of course.

BTW. I lost at least 5 level just from dying. I lost so many experience that would be enough to 5 middle levels. :-)) Now I didn't die, when I'm solo at least 5 levels. :-)))

I guess I'm lucky, dying sometimes when my attention is on the TV during lower levels, and currently, I have not died since 5 levels ago. The shrink distance does help a little to make that getaway... b:laugh

I'm little bit "hot head". I'm gonna fighting with bravery couple mobs and then I have to ruuuuuun.b:laugh Now it is much better I handle 2-3 mobs of my level at once. b:laugh

    It is possible.

At 56 (I not tested before this level) Wizard can solo fb29, including boss.

And (may be) fb39, including bosses.
I am aimed now at Gouf, Aerox Chief.
When my Wizard has 3k of Physical defense he inflict about 1000 of damage per one hit.

I usually don't fight more mobs at the same time unless there's someone to back me up. But I usually have another problem. After I finish killing a mob I forget to check my hp bar and end up fighting the next one one with only half my hp remaining. xD

I know the feeling I was in a squad with a level 75 bm who was helping me kill some mobs since we met on our alts, and I was easily doing 3-4 times more dmg then she was, I didnt say anything, because she was charmed and did help when mobs spawn right next to each other and decide to agro on me

At your level most of mobs are magic.

    Is not it ?

Fire, Water, Metal, Wood and sometimes Earth elemental, as I remember it.

    For example,
    Pawnyard Rancoreido Leader - Metal,
    Hydroyard Rancoreido Leader - Water,
and Pyroyard Rancoreido Leader - Fire -
    best for your level.

You know, I know all the wizards out there asked themselves at least once, god did I pick the wrong class. With how insanely hard it is to level especially considering at lower levels we drop like lead baloons, but I managed to put up with it because I knew I was always hitting much harder then all the other classes. After finally getting 59 about a week ago Its truly amazing how much damage we can do, at a measly level 66 I am I solod fb19 (was a bit hard when it attacked back but just the right timing of pots and I did it). Now to the title of this post, as hard as Im sure it was to stick with being a wizard cant you just say that its hard to ever think about switching?

i never thought about switching i love my wiz and i really cant see myself playing any other class

Because they either have wings glued to there head or are half animal? at least bms and wizzies are human!

Buing a furry, I don't think that species makes a difference in gameplay, and I think the elven ears are a cool addition. I personally prefer hitting like a ton of bricks from far back while running from three to five mobs that have for some reason taken a liking to me. Distance shrink is a life saver lmao!

Yeah, it's me. Don't read to much into it, though; I'm only here for myself now, killin' time and chillin' when need-be. So sue me. Tch...

I love my wiz. It was the first class I ever played on PWI. I always tend to gravitate towards the magic class. I never really knew it was supposed to be one of the more difficult classes until people told me I was crazy.

Now with the assassin, I have a melee and a magic. I'm all set.
