    There are some unused NPC at game and some phrases at the source code.

    Im guessing a female only class, with leather armour, massive 'certain body parts' would fit the whip picture pretty nicely ^^.

    looking at it simple guess :

    Early in development this was intended to be a weapon for one of the classes or possibly a removed class. The stats of the weapon at lv70 tell me that they were not tweaked and never used for anything.

    They had been in pwdatabase long ago.

    if were to read the OP u will see she asked what class would likely to use the whips, i stated my answer, simple. I know whips have been in DB for ages but thats not whats on topic.

    Probably meant for Venomancers in the early stages of development, makes complete sense, like the lion tamers at the circus use whips.

    p.s. Release whips for the Venos so they can tame tigers (Barbs) lol

    Ive seen a thread about this before, and I remember someone posted saying that venos actually did use whips in early beta...we'll see if anyone can confirm this. I think it's more likely whips were in the Alpha, non public stage of development if anything.

    Been here since day 1 of closed beta and I can confirm that that's not the case. Not in PWi at least.
