hello,

im playing PWI for more then 1 year now together with my GF.
I recently both an other PC. it's a acer dual 2.9ghz 1.5giga ram integrated ati 200express 128mb.

In the first week off playing PWI on my new pc i had no problems at all.

now for the first time since i'm playing PWI i have a big problem.
It starts when i try to input my account it goes very slow.
the loading and logging in is no problem, but when i try to move it take's 3-4 seconds before my charc starts to move. Same with the changing of sight, zooming in ...
i never had this problem before, it seems like i'm downloading very heavy but the only thing thats running on my pc is PWI and windows XP sp3.
im on on a router but not wireless.
My GF is using a 8 year old p4 1.6ghz 768 mb ram and a mx4000 gfx card
she has no problem at all.(just some laggs but thats her weak pc )

here are the things i tried to do

reinstalling windows xp sp3
reinstalling game client
reinstalling gfx driver
resetting the modem,router
i changed internet cable
i tried some stuff from the forum as editting systemsetting.ini file

i don't lag at all if im playing at 800x600, which is ridiculous considering the pc i have...
if i change settings the problem is back

can annyone help plz

    Copy over your current systemsettings.ini and post it here.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    Replace the [Video] section of yours, with the one from here: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=5734581&postcount=46

    Follow the directions exactly. If you change the settings ingame after making this change, you'll have to copy and paste that back into the file, and delete the [Video] section when replacing it again.

    I don't care what anyone says, XP SP3 is the Titanic of service packs, no joke. I'll bet apples to oranges that if you were to reinstall XP and only download and install SP2, you'd be fine.

    im playing for more then 1 year on sp3 and now from one day to the other this problem appears.

    i changed the ini file( again) as u said.

    my problem starts alreaddy when i try to input my account and password.
    even when the ini file is changed,it go's very slow.
    i type accountname and then w8 2-3 sec and then my account appears on the loginscreen, same with the password. (even when running in 800x600)

    the game is not running when i changed the file

    changing this file does not help me.
    i tryd it 3 time's now.

    now a 2de problem appears: when i type my account and password it says unabble to connect.
