Fox form and mp charms

I'd just like to say that I'd like to see the MP charms activation be lowered, or the fox form to be fixed. Atm every time a veno comes out of fox form and they are charmed, it causes it to tick. Why? because fox form decreases our MP amount and when we change back, the amount is still lower then what the charm is set for.
This can be an easy fix, Either change the charm to say 70% (Since from 9-59 the amount is over or equal to 25%), not that big of a change but it'd help. Or make is so our mp values are changed by a percentage so that if we are at full MP in foxform and then return to normal, we're still full with the exception of the cost to change. I cant even begin to image how many charms I've waste just by switching between the two forms.

I believe that they should be set to 50% the way HP charms are. I don't see the logic at having it set at something different to start with.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

b:chuckle I agree, it's just another example of THE MAN trying to keep us down!!! b:victory
In honesty, i do agree with you, 50% would be very nice.>_< I'm a wizard in disguise... you know like the old cartoon... except with less robots and more fire/ice/rocks....0 -
'tis why I don't have an MP charm. I have an HP charm and I use soul transfuse when my MP goes low and pots/Nature's Grace is on CD.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
oh look, i'm inactive again.

mana charm and even hp has been designed to give a major advantage for a huge price ...90% of it burns away for nothing ...is a very luxury item...very expensive that give you a great advantage in pvp...pve wise not really great..
they not gonna change %%% ever since that was that plan all along... pay 100% charm for 10% use of it.. if they wanted could make it unbound like let you remove it and use it only when u want..or turn it on and off...
but this is a p2p game in end.. so money gotta come from somewereb:chuckle
veno don't use mana charm..is as pointless as a mag build barbar....only if i use my cast eq ...27% i burn lot of mana but with nature grace and spark i getting to use 5-10 mana pots for a tt run..that's nothing really.. can't really intersoul since got hp charm for those random pkers i love to kill:D:D0 -
b:question what do you mean veno's dont use MP charms? I do for one and even when I am using it there are a number of occassions where my MP is near depleted before it ticks again. I even carry MP pots and other items to help increase my MP. my 1-12 inv slots are all dedicated to HP and MP items, most of the time its all the way up to the 16th slot.
Why you ask? Because I dont sit back and watch my pet fight, only healing it when it needs it, and otherwise not doing anything. I actually attack, most of the time other creatures then what my pet is attacking. And Natures Grace as too long of a cool down to be considered that useful for keeping MP in check, Sure, if I run out of mp I can meditate, or spam MP pots till it its ready, but that takes quite abit of time away from fighting and grindin, and is a great way to waste miji's too.

A veno will have realized that a MP charm is totaly waste to use on a veno when you have soul transfusion.
Also, there are apoc pots that do a great job at keeping your mana up.. like the +50MP regain per second or the +100MP regain per second, in addition to the +6000MP regain mana pots, and the +30% and the +60% MP/HP insta regain apoc pots.
So you can use a MP charm, that uses 1MP point of charm for every 1MP point of mana it restores, or you can use just a HP charm, where, lets say you have 3k hp and 6k mp, one point of charm recouvers 2 points of mana.
Ultimaly it is up to you if you want to blow through a MP charm, or just use a HP one and apoc pots, event food, regular pots and use soul transfusion while you other regain skills are in cooldown.
As Poison pointed out on her reply to me, however, some venos will have more HP than MP, at which point, the above statement would not be true, and you would use a MP charm if you chose to use a charm at all.
There is nothing wrong with fox form either.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0 -
Max fox form, then it won't tick charms. Jasmin, Some of us venos have more HP than MP...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Mp charms are a waste for venos.I was early taught to work as well as play,

You and your refines ><
Ok, let me rephrase, if your HP > MP, than use MP charms, if your MP > HP use HP charms.
There is not very likely a veno will have that problem until they get much higher and have nice refines and shards like you have though....Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. That and picking the right accessories. It hurt but I had to give up some +HP rings for the lunar rings I picked up this weekend, I was sad to see some of that HP go but as long as I'm still over 8k buffed I'm happy.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

The +250pdef on each ring does not hurt much either.. on top of the 6% channeling...Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Yeah, the pdef/chan is why I switched to them from my +HP rings, that way I don't have to carry a second set of rings to swap out for tanking bosses. On topic though, my numbers are close enough to each other that I'll still do the soul transfusion thing on PVE to save MP charms for TW.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Did already mention that Maxing fox form does fix it, But thats not till lvl 60. know how many charms a person can go through by that time? having a skill that just burns through it when it isnt even during combat is irritating. No other race has a skill that'll burn through mp like it, apart from maybe the elven wings. But that goes away at lvl 30, which a person can get to in a few days.
The whole thing about a veno either not using or using MP charms is abit off topic. but even so, As for soul transfusion, It switches your HP, so your mp is near empty then your HP will then be. And I dunno about you but I have no desire for my hp to get so low in the middle of a battle, I have low enough hp as it is, And sure hp charms help with this, but then you'd 1)burn through hp charms faster, which what would be the point in not having an mp charm then, and 2)have your hp charm cooling down in the middle of battle leaving yourself open to be killed easily.0 -
Use mp food. They are (or were, dont know current prices) cheap as 1k a piece. It heals way better than charm coin/mp/hp ratio, and you can control when you use it.
Also, you dont use soul transfusion in the middle of battle. You play smart and never get hit while grinding until you run low/out of mp. Then you use heal mp, transfuse, then heal hp. Doing thing along with sparking should allow you to not use any pots at all. If you're finding that you're switching from fox/humanoid during grinding a lot, you're doing something wrong. I see no need for that. Also, controlling your usage of mp via proper skills doesnt mean "sitting back and letting pet do all the work."I was early taught to work as well as play,
