    My opinion on this subject varies. I for one do not like oracles or the purpose most people use them for. It has nothing to do with money for me, it's just a matter of not seeing the point. When you oracle to 90, 95, 100, you miss the entire game. That being said, I suppose I'm a bit biased towards those that do it, but not enough to get all worked up about it.

    HOWEVER, aside from that quest that requires people to kill the oracle one boss (I forget what level you get it), oracles are not a mandatory part of the game, you don't ever "need" oracles. PKers don't "need" to pk anyone either, but they can, so they do. You CAN do oracles, so you do. To me it's a pointless argument over which should be allowed and which shouldn't. You "want" to do oracles, they "want" to pk you. Why should one get what they want while the other doesn't, when neither are necessary things?

    People kill me all the time, if I don't know the person that did it, I don't say a word, I just go back to town, and either try again or go do something else. If I do know the person I might say something, but nobody has ever been able to accuse me of any of this "QQ" nonsense. (That term annoys me to no end.) On the other hand, when I kill someone, I don't call them names and gloat about it, I move on because it's just a part of the game.

    Anyone else going to point out that oracle noobs would likely be fairly high levels within a day?? so i'd say killing them is not necessarily picking on low levels. not anyone's fault if they catch a 9x without their fairy, or x2 sparks, or even a single spark...lol

    PvP servers on PWI were always carebear. Play Diablo 2 multiplayer on hardcore mode. Not necessarily PvP but the fact that anyone can declare hostility on anyone else over level 9 takes care of that very nicely. So what if only 8 people can be in a game at the same time? It only takes 1 level 30 player to kill 7 level 9 players.

    The carebear stuff has gone over bored now people get threatened by bans from left to right just becaz your camping there it's starting to ruin the whole server..I bet in a few weeks some people will make a thread QQing saying that PKing people at west gate is ruining them from doing quests..Then a Gm will say pking at west gate is a bannable offense then that will end to "/**** this game it's ****!".

    me are 81 wizard trying to kill....whatever it is oracle spawn level range 30-40
    and these suicidal noobs keep griefing me by running into me aoe range...

    The various definitions people have for being camped reminds me of the definitions of Headaches and Migranes.
    A bad headache that makes your whole face hurt is one thing, but it's usually not a migraine as those incapacitate you and knock you on your ****.
    There are wussies and tough people bogging up definitions everywhere. PvP PK is one of those things.

    "OMG I GOT KILED 1'S I BAN U. U CAMPING MI" I hate those. Makes me want to PK them just because so I can see if they leave the server.
    While another goes "Um... you've killed me like, 6 times. Can you stop now and let me get my stuff done?" and the PKer continues his onslaught under the not-so-protective guise "It's a PvP server, I'll kill you as much as I damn well please."
    You can blame that for the rules in place, methinks.

    i lol at this. it also only takes one lvl 30 assasin on d2 to kill a lvl 8x-9x paladin lol (have done this on many occasions during the 2 years i played d2) but yea qqing about oracle camping oh well. your the one with the pocket book so why don't you buy the gm's while ur at it or buy the services of a high lvl char to help you not die or something of the sort. otherwise just do ur quests and move on with ur puny little life (oracle noobs are pathetic and I don't want any my lvl so i'll probabl be killing oracle's (2's most likely) for the most of the first 2-3 days. I can guarantee you i'm not the only one either. (i may be on a carebear server i'm aware but my sin will be rerolled on LC and wont oracle even once shy of the lvl 35 box giving me 2 oracle 2's)

    My plan? Lvl and get used to my new char, then oracle when it hits ~45 like 3 weekes after the expansion comes out so I don't have to deal with as many rpkers and all the lag. Even then I'll only have less than 100 oracles to use, so it might get me to 48?

    Oracles are an optional part of the game. I say Camp them with your entire faction and take turns killing oracle nubs so they can't say just one person was camping them.

    Dang...me going to have to submit alot of screenshots and tickets about me getting camped by oracle noobs....
    me was just sitting there minding me own business, trying to finish me own oracle, killing other people, dying....alot~....when suddenly a tideborn assassin/psychic came at me...so me had to shoot him down....and then he came back! again and again!

    then he threatened to report me QQ because he was dumb enough to try and bother me with his presence~ .......instead of playing the game in a normal way~~~

    You mean you are going to make them submit a ticket and get your account banned?
    I am sure that will be very challanging.. and all they will have to do after you kill them is to link to your post where you claim you are doing it on purpose to grief them... Great plan.

    obviously we cant do that as we are on different servers but judging from his pk videos, he only has half my hp... add in my **** nix... yea....

    I'm err gonna just AoE grind with a few oracles myself >___> and will happen to have my protections off. I'll be preventing them from KS'ing me. IJS. Also, if I so happen to accidentally forget to click my oracles and accidentally lengthen my time there I can't really be held responsible. IMO.

    As long as you are using oracles yourself, I am not sure how you would be able to prevent "accidental" kills when using AOEs skills... I mean, if you were to use other skills, that would affect your game progression, since it would take you longer to complete, right?
