Well i would say, those people who spend money in this game are have a better life cuz they have the money to spare and spend in the game. Also while they are working their butts off earining the loads of cold cash, your sitting on your asses playing the game(not true to all). Having oracles and cash shop events is a way to pay back the people who are working hard in real life(and to keep pwi cash to keep the game running) and keep them also caught up in levels, gears and skills in the game. I myself have not spent a single penny in this game but yet i am able to keep up with decent gear and a decent lv so why cant you guys do the same and quit the hate on cash shoppers?
u mean their parents are working their butts off earning the loads of cold cash, while the kid that's "sitting their ****" got their hand out? Anyways if some1 earned that much money, they sure wouldn't spend it here. Would be spending it on vacation on their own island or some **** or their wife would be spending all the money b:chuckle0 -

Are you saying that people who AoE grind at 92+ haven't learned their fundamental skills for their character? b:bye0 -

also, vern went from sad blue gears and barely affording blade of red dust, to magically having +8->+11 gear.

you really dont know much O_o; i did have a high level veno, one fairly infamous for being a jerk.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
advice to fledgling archers:
Going sage is like drunken sex, at first she may look good, but when you wake up the next morning; you'll look at her and go WHAT HAVE I DONE.0 -
double post! to verns friends, i dont mean to insult vern, really. just mix a lot of bad memories from her lower levels with personal annoyance at over night richness from nowhere, and you get this. idk, call it a vent, to let things go.

You are correct that she will happily pull aggro, and she does not care if she dies, but if you had spent some time talking with her you might understand her motivations. I am not going to share her story for her, but I will say that I cry almost every time I think of her.
I will say, however, that your judgement of her and her choices assumes that she has motivations similar to your own. And little could be further from the truth.
I will also say that if you do not like dying you can survive those battles she likes to get into. You just need to put a little thought into it. (Though I might be being unfair, here? I can and do survive party wipes in brimstone where all of the 9Xs die -- and that is typically after trying to pull all the aggro I can get so I can try and keep other people alive. I just wish I had a fast channelling AoE that did not leave my genie dry. But staying on the edge of the battle and not biting off more than you can chew usually works well enough.)0 -
Why would his/her personal story has anything to do with a party wipe? I still fail to see how risking the death of your party is their fault because the person likes to nuke the mobs and steal aggro...then die horribly. Maybe you can run because of your class, but clerics don't run very fast nor do they have high evasion.0

Again. You can't judge someone that you don't know. People earn money and can spend it wherever they want to can't they?0 -

Yawn. Oracle noob or not, who really cares? The way things are now, half the people in this game have bought their levels. As long as they don't suck at the game, it really doesn't matter how they got there. Blame the system, not the player. Point is, if someone gets to that high of level, you congratulate them, not tear them down. Except in PvP, of course, but that's a whole other animal.0

who said we were suppose to compete with anyone? last time i checked games were meant to be played for fun, to enjoy yourself, not competition
Well that depends on the games youve been checking out... obviously not very many. Games are meant for fun.. Competition for some people (like myself) is very fun. This game is very competitive. Unless your a carebear that grinds all day which i dont mind if u do.. but ur grinding for no reason IMO. TW is competitive, Duels are competitive, Leveling up with your friends... again.. competitive. Cya. b:surrender0 -

@mcflurgal, a noob named vernomtress
vernomtress actually is not an oracle noob. vernomtress has been playing PWI for quite a long time, and has been a staple venomancer among the sanctuary community for a long time. Just because she obviously has money does not make her a noob, she knows her class very well, and has every right to do what she wishes with her money. She keeps to herself and has done nothing to bother you, so I'd appreciate it if you refrained yourself from calling people you dont know or their situations unnecessary names.
Congratulations, vernomtress[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Well in tts if the veno can tank, they usually tank also you are saying that she lost aggro due to doing to much dmg, imo i would call that pro. hence in tt pets usually do more then ppl plus herc has reflect
Also i know plenty of barbs who lose aggro to high lv dds and cause squad wipes or another barb in squad to tank, would you call those barbs noobs too?
and yes she may have went to blue gears to +8-+11 gears but hell i spent nothing on this game and i went from sad blue gears to tt99 gold as well. its not impossible you just gotta work for it wheather irl or in game.0 -

sure duels, tws are competative but that "shouldnt" be the main reason you play a game, the reason i pk, tw, duels is to have fun win or loss its all fun. Playing just to be competative usually causes in name calling and possibly making yourself feel bad if you've lost.0 -

Waffles saying the pet died i think. Anyways, i'm sure everyone has had noob moments, as long as they are willing to learn and end up improving themselves, i have nothing against them, even if they cause a few wipes along the way lol.
my old fac, for example, was full of bad clerics (for some reason we recruited some that turned out to be really inexperienced), usually clerics who mostly play solo and we take them to FBs or boss fights only to learn that they cannot heal well because they statted wrong or didn't know what spells to use. but we tell them good stat builds, what spells to use, and they learn. i'd proudly say that all the 4u2nv's clerics i know while i was there ended up being very reliable and excellent healers.Elena Costel: I wash my hands of this affair.

Mad_Doc - Sanctuary wrote: »Why would his/her personal story has anything to do with a party wipe?
Several things are happening here:
In a bad situation, I have seen Vernomtress pull massive aggro, die, rez herself (using a scroll), and keep tanking. And if party members do not understand her and how she plays, they could easily pull aggro and die in a situation like that.
In my opinion, her story has to do with how she makes her choices and why she would play like this. But I did not mean to conflate her personal situation with party wipes.
Party wipes, in brimstone, come from people not understanding how other people will react or not understanding the monsters. A cleric healing inappropriately, a tank holding aggro inappropriately, a DD dealing damage in the wrong way can all cause party wipes. Brimstone is a cakewalk compared to some other, later instances, but it has long patrols, monsters that kite, monsters that AoE (and kite), and a few other such things which can lead to wipes for people that do not handle them properly.0 -
First off there is no lvl 103 in PWI. Next time if you think something is important enough to post about you can take a few seconds to confirm if it is actually true.
Secondly we don't need a discussion of a specific veno of sanctuary in general discussion.
Thirdly, vernom is a sweetie b:heartb:heart[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
