Microsoft visual c++ runtime library Runtime Errror

Hi there,

I have following trouble and it would be great if any1 has THE solution. ^^
I downloaded pw and when i try to install it a window shows up with following message:

Microsoft visual c++ runtime library
Runtime Errror

abnormal program termination
b:sad
So what the heck shall i do? i red tons of forum threads but there are also very much "solutions" which didnt work or aren't compatible (which means-doesnt have to do with pw or XP).

Maybe i get help here specific bcuz its pw.
With other games i dont have this bs.

I updated everything.

PC:
WinXP pro SP3

You need to know that (or maybe u already got it) my knowledge about PC/Microsoft(!!) isnt that great

btw: the exe file (or the whole pw datas are on an usb flashdisk), bcuz i dont have enough space anymore on C:/
Does it have something to do with that? For instance, if i would paste the rar file into C: and extract it there? Or has it something to do with microsoft stuff (as usuall)... i hate microsoft, i hate it so much b:cry

I really reallyyy would be very happy for a an answer or solution in forward. b:thanks

    first try moving the installation files to your hard drive, then try installing to the flash drive - you can always change the installation destination after starting the installer. But make sure you have ample storage space on the flash drive for all the extracted files + future patches.

    if that's not the issue (not totally sure it is to be honest)
