Marrow is a horrible idea when facing archers like transcend. If you marrow and they quickshot with -interval gear you are good as gone.

CQ closed beta was the funnest I ever had. (In this game) 3x pvp is one of my favorite things.

Let me get some responses out of the way first..

@Breadbun: I live down the coast from PWI HQ and get about a 30ms ping. I'd say it gives me a bit of an advantage b/c if I duel an east coast/overseas archer and we both try to stun first, I'll get mine off 95% of the time before he/she does

@Xtacy: Seeing the defeat pop up after the TW vids sucked, which is why I focused more on pvp for the last couple vids. It seems like people like those more anyways, so it works out.

@Phaige: I've taken my fair shair of one-shots and such, but as long as you can adapt and learn from each fight, you'll get that much better. I always recommend that people record their gameplay to review/analyze later on, to see what mistakes they've done and how to fix it next time around. It's like sports teams that analyze their game footage to find weaknesses and improvements. The more you practice and get the combos ingrained in your head, the quicker you will be to react to various pvp situations

@Gilforin: TY, and the PVP in the vid was very fun I remember hearing in vent how even though our charms were being killed off, it was worthwhile.

@Haiz: lol thanks.. I wanted to document server history (all thanks to Maiya of course) for future players to look upon, but I figured I might as well have a bit of fun with it.

@Collapse: I've been a part of the rave scene for so long, and combining awesome tracks with PW seemed to make a good fit (at least from my perspective). I thought people would be turned off by it but all the pm's I get about "OMG THAT SONG IS SOOOOOO AWESOME" makes the creation process all worth it in the end.


To everyone, thanks for all your positive (and sometimes negative) feedback to this and all the other vids I've made in the past, I couldn't have done it without the criticism. I honestly started making these vids to somehow integrate the music I love with the game I love/unlove, and never expected people from all over the world to be so eager for the next movie releases. Here's a map as of 12/12/09 showing how far this video has gone in just a few days.. and it's very humbling to see that. I used to make counter-strike movies for the local gaming community in Vegas that was seen by a max of 200 people, so going from that to my current total view count of 237,193 is like.. wow b:shocked

This is just about the most popular video I've made to date (4k views in 6 days), and have to give credit where it's due, which is everyone in LC. Without having challenges to face, I wouldn't have been motivated to learn, adapt, or improve myself, and just hope that these vids can inspire others to be as creative or more.. I can't be making these forever you know

Thanks, umm.. since it's a chinese game, "dynasty" was the first thought that came to mind when thinking of large territorial control (even though there is no bloodline or inheritance of power). I was a bit in a rush when doing all the text and wanted to get the movie out, so one late night I just went with it.

If I had to do it again I'd call it an empire
