All class battle pet?

I realize that Im going to get a great deal of flak shot at me for this, undoubtably flamed to no end; however I would like to see an all class battle pet for all classes. I realize the Venomancer's are going to say No No NO! But again just hear me out on this, The Non pet class specific battle pets dont have to be spectacular like the Phoenix or the herc, they can be a generic pet for specific class types or races, that can be purchased from an NPC vendor or you are rewarded one upon completion of specific quests. This pet would have to be able to be summoned in 2 different forms, Air, and ground, or Dungeon and world, so that it can assist you in combat in either zone.
Example:
Humans: Tiny Chinese Dragon. I say a dragon because most of the human type skills are imaged in dragons of some sort or another (Heaven's flame for the Blademaster's and Black Ice Dragon Strike for wizards)
Winged Elves: Eagle/condor Being most of their skills are based around Eagles, condors and other winged birds it would only be logical that they would have some sort of hawk.
Barbarian ( I keep veno to its specific class because they need to have the most sway with pets): An "Untamed" barbarian's pet would be a tad harder to place, being as most venomancers hold sway over the pet populous. It could honestly be anything from a vicious vampire bat, to a European styled dragon similar to the drake, or even something like an imp or gargoyle.
What purpose would these serve for the other classes?
Aside from Minor damage increase outputs, and something else to spend a few extra coins on to feed, nothing. They would have the ability to do roughly half the damage that a basic pet (wolf, scorpion) would do, would allow the other classes the ability to pull as a venomancer can so we dont have to bum-rush hordes of mobs to kill only one, and would allow for more flexability per class that is seemingly missing.
But the Genie's do exactly what you've mentioned...
Not really, Genies have limitations, they affect you personally or your target with a skill that uses built up energy your genie has accumulated. What Im referring to is a pet that can help damage deal for you, or take damage. One that you would have to heal, using either some type of potion or skill.
This keeps venomancers from doing their jobs in a party...
Sorry, but to be honest, that job was taken by the Zeal Genie and earthenflame. Now a barb can do what you do with 1/3rd the risk to himself because he has three times your hp. A venomancer's job in a party is like anyone elses, Support the cleric, support the tank.
This suggestion would heavily nerf Venomancers!
Not really when you think of what Im suggesting. Im suggesting a pet class that is Generic. A creature summoned by the other classes that does Minute damage compared to the immaculate damage increases of any pet the Venomancers could summon. like say if a veno's pet damage is 1500-3000. Im saying the Generic battle pet class of the same level would do 750-1200 damage. Much less damage than the Veno's pet could fire off at equal level.
I bring this up because there is a trend in other perfectworld games as in all classes get battle pets, even if there is a specific "pet class." I believe by implementing something like this would help those who wish to solo most of their quests, as a squishier class, or just want a companion while questing that they dont really have to worry about it losing exp if it dies.

Ok...no.
Venomancers have a lower overall damage output than the other 2 magic classes that are currently in the game, all set on a pure Mag. build. The pet is there to A) Tank and Make up for the disparity in damage. Giving even a minor increase in damage to the other classes severely unbalances the game, specifically the melee classes.
Archers already dominate pvp, and now you're giving them even more damage? I can already see how Pve as an archer with this would be pathetically easy.Have pet set minor aggro, stun, knockback, normal until dead. Blademasters have ranged skills, to draw at least 1 mob to them, compared to having to use a genie to pull, and barbarians sit on an enormous health pool with very high defense, except against magic mobs so potential loss of life is low and rare. There's no point.
Contrary to your belief, this does make it harder for a venomancer to do their job in party, because they won't be invited anymore! TT squads only bring venos for the damage increase, and even if they tank, there's still some good odds that they get last pick. RB's seem to prefer another BM/Wiz/Cleric compared to the perfect squad, and Zhen parties like wizards for their more powerful AoE and crowd controls.
Basically, what you're saying (at least to me) is that you want to take away the one unique feature of a venomancer and give it to all the classes. If venos can get purify and ironheart, and have those skills also work on the pets. Also if we can cast brumble on our pets, than I would not mind too much. Oh, and we need some more stun skills, so pick 3 of our spells and had 5sec stuns to them.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0

1. u can't heal them
2. u can't revive em
3. u need to go to town, revert it to egg and hatch it again to revive it.0 -

No, but just because I don't like the idea. Theme wise, the only class that's supposed to be fighting with a pet is a veno, so it wouldn't make sense for others to have pets to fight with them.
In the grand scheme of things, it wouldn't actually impact veno's at all... it might even make them more desirable if the all important support skills (heal/revive pet) remained veno only and the pets took damage on occasion.0 -

buy a 2nd computer and make yourself a veno. there you go you can now have a pet with you at all times.0

Come on people, It could be a pet that uses chi or something, and you could give veno's abilities to buff their bet and other pets too. and If the other classes want their pets to be healed, they'd have to use chi or ask a veno lol. And maybe it cost like a spark or something to keep your pet out for a certain amount of time. I think it's an interesting idea but it doesn't matter to me.

i read you post carefully and i still say no. imagine a pet that can hold arrgo for 3 secs to a DD like me or a wiz that would mean all non boss mobs will never be a threat. there is a reason y venos have pets and a reason y other classes simply DON'T NEED THEM. how little damage they can dish out matters little. with a pet to all classes, it gives everyone (at least in PVE) a stun of sorts. the pet can attack first get arrgo then you attack by the time the mob gets arrgo on you, it's already on it's way to being dead:/ overall it just can't happen, if not for the balancing issues then for the lore. trhe reason y venos can have pets is becos they themselves are/were part animals. it is what makes them different from all the classes.0

all class pet? possible. everything new here (mounts flights fashion) is taking from the fake perfect world. my friends play the fake pwi and yes they do have an all class battle pet which im pretty sure this pw will take that idea too.
but some problems.
1.you cant heal your pet. only venos can heal pets still.
2.if your pet dies, you have go back to town, revert the egg and re hatch the egg. bc why? you can not revive it... why? you dont have the revive pet skill! and no, clerics can not revive your pet.
3.all class pet is SUPER... let me say again.. SUPER expensive. pwi is gonna make sooooo much money from the all class battle pets.
