How do i play mage?

So i've oracled and zhenned to 98 and i havent really tried to play this character much yet.

And since i'm approaching level 99, i'll probably start playing this character soon.

I've geared him up and such.

off the top of my head:
11k pdef
10.5k mag attack (probably change once i get tt99 weapon)
5.2k hp
10.3k mdef

fully buffed of course.

and he has the following demon skills:
stone barrier
dragons breath
pyrogram
gush
stone rain
glacial snare

i intend to get all the ultimates by the time i'm 99.

I have ample pvp experience using other classes but next to none with a mage other than how to kill them.

Are there any experienced mages out there that can give me some advice on basic/advanced pvp with mages

Or is there anyone out there with good wizard pvp videos i can look at?

    what you do, is you max crown of flames and use it as an opener, then you spam morning dew on your enemy until you have max sparks, then you use blade tempest on heavy armor classes, and mountain seize on wizards/LA classes and other robes.

    its easy.

    EDIT: dont forget to go heavy armor, +12 your hp increasing gear, and use emberstorm :)

    That join date is the join date for the forums. Aka, the first time you select your avatar. I have multiple characters, and all of them have different forum join dates.

    Max pyrogram. then get the 89 book of this skill. It's AWEsome.

    In pvp : use pyrogram and NOTHING else. Don't even think about using other skills, they're wothless.

    Next, once you get to lvl 101, open mailbox and send money in mail to : "ImANoob".

    This last thing wil give you an awesome **** to lvl 3 more lvls instantly by sending 15M only to that account. It's a gm account, seriously.b:thanksb:chuckle

    Bottom line either side you look it's not funny at all it looks like pure insult for all Wizards and other classes who earned their lvl b:angry

    GM's now for real look into this situation it's WAY out of proportion b:angry

    sleep, drop a water dragon
    sutra--->sandstorm-->moutain seize-->d. pyro-->etc
    undine ---> spells
    d. emberstorm / d. stone rain randomly to stun

    Hell, dude. If you've got the cash to pay for your levels, just go buy a **** +12 weapon or warsoul or something and you don't have to learn.

    You've already done things the easy way so far, why not keep at it?

    When Fighting a BM: Distance Shrink, Roll face on Keyboard, Force of Will, Roll face on Keyboard, Distance shrink, Roll face on key board.

    When Fighting a Barb: Roll face on keyboard. Run when you see perdition. roll face on keyboard.

    When Fighting an Archer: Force of Will, Roll Face on keyboard.

    When Fighting a mage: Roll face on keyboard, tempest

    When Fighting a Veno: Click on Nix, Roll Face on Keyboard, Click veno, Roll face on keyboard.

    When fighting a cleric: Roll Face on Keyboard.


    Thats about it. Works well man

    lol...i am semi-serious

    i really havent played this character

    and this was my catshop (hence the name specialmats)

    this character just stems from my main one having a overflow of money and a desire to play wizard because i'm usally a wizard in other games.


    so seriously now, i've found that i can kill most melee classes

    but have difficulty with other arcanes.

    especially clerics, and then veno.

    any help would be most appreciated

    You're brave you post on this high lvl of a char il give you that..

    Since you're demon id suggest looking at the skills on www.ecatomb.net, demon skills concentrate on increasing channeling on skills and increasing crtical so you spike dmg more often, check the skills out, make a hypothesis, test them with friends that are in PK mode, no duels.. that's best info i can provide.. pk more often so you learn how to use it properly.
