    Ah, didnt know someone had max coords, was just relying on Kantos, or was it the other GM's time factor.
    I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
    Full of work and full of play-
    I dropped the worry on the way-
    And God was good to me everyday.

    Anyone know how large the map is in this game?

    As in (kilo)meter length along the x- and y-axes, distance between major areas, or time it take to fly between certain areas with default (5.5m/s) or otherwise aerocraft?

    roughly 350,000-400,000 cubic miles in diamater. give or take 50,000 miles.

    Oh, then did you get the max and mins of the map?

    Yes, I edited it into my previous post.

    lets add onto the math :D

    if u had 1 mole of all the pixels it takes to generate the map on a standard comp, how many times could u cover the earth?

    for those who don't know what a mole is, 1 mole = 6.02 x 10^23

    light shall exist somewhere,
    even if only a small sliver,
    a light found among darkness,
    shines all the brighter." -unknown

    I think you're forgetting that the cooridates don't start at 0,0, at least in this current version of the map.

    Um... Cubic meters measure volume, not distance?

    Me thinks we should stop this insanity right now, or we will eventually arrive at one of the three possible conclusions:

    1. The world is disproportionately huge, therefore our characters are literally giants. Cool.
    2. The world is disproportionately small, therefore our characters are literally dwarves. Cool.
    3. The world is roughly normal, therefore our characters are literally human-sized. Considering how much humans sucked in Lord of the Rings, this wouldn't be cool at all.
    If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

    Everyone wants to be different, but when you're different you wish you were normal.

    ^this
    you can see on the map the dark spots where you can't travel yet they still has coords.
    me thought it was obvious enough not to point out but...
    me think some if not all of you guys be doing your calculations wrong to some degree. close enough though.

    er....cubic miles be can be a valid answer to what we want.

    the world can be either x by y by z or x times y times z. (this world be 3 dimensional yesh?)
    either way gives us the same thing, the size of the world.

    cubic miles can be a valid response to measuring space however there are two problems here....

    1. providing only the answer in cubic miles without the measurement, gives you no idea what the measurements along the x,y,z axis' are.

    2. The reason that it is important to know what the measurements along those axis' are is bc the OP asked for the distance along the x and y axis only.

    ie. saying that PWI is 400,000 cubic miles big could mean that it is only .5 miles wide x 200,000miles high x 400,000 miles in length. Obviously, PWI is wider and longer than it is high, but you can now see my point as to why it is important (at least to answer the OP's question) to include the measurements.

    well the unit of measurement be simple...it be meters
    (check out your aerosword/wings) they use meters per second.
    (err unless they translated that wrong too. b:sweat)

    even though the OP asked for x by y
    technically a world should be measured using an x,y,z measurement plane as it is 3 dimensional.
    (heaven's tear for example is frigging floating)
    xD

    and we talking only about the present world right? none of the past maps?

    sowwys er....habits from particle physics (because me don't like math lols) not trying to be harsh.

    In her post, she said "With +3m/s wings it took me 12.39 seconds to fly 10 ticks (300 to 290)." 12.39 was the number I used for time.

    d = 8 * 12.39
    d = 99.12

    Maximum coordinates are (706, 1010, 79), but d was solved for a coordinate range of 10 so you'll need to divide each coordinate by 10.

    x = 99.12 * 70.6
    y = 99.12 * 10.1
    z = 99.12 * 7.9

    I think you made a mistake. Shouldn't the 10,1 be 101,0 since you put the comma 1 place back.
    Plus i am also pretty sure that the minimum x and y aren't 0.
    I guess i might check this when i get ingame.

    x = 99.12 * 70.6 = 6997.8
    y = 99.12 * 101.0 = 10.011.1
    z = 99.12 * 7.9 = 783.0

    I was not aware of that, thanks. That means that the actual size is going to be 5,485,763,066.5 cubic meters instead.

    hehe thats 17997910321.522 cubic feet
