Why low level players begging you for money? It happend to me couple times. When I was going around starting cities. Low lv. players see me and start to begging for loan? Is it normal? They started telling me sad stories, normally I would cry in normal life but here? Every1 need money regardless to level.b:angry Am I different?

    it are just noobs who think every high lvl is rich and got way more money then they need plus they are to lazy to farm for money
    and they also wanna buy unneeded stuff like fashion with the coins they wanna get from you
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    the way this game is now, it's impossible for anyone just starting out to even afford to be around long enough to decide if its worth sticking around and perhaps even charging zen. big mistake PWE

    its happened to me several times. occasionally i would oblige and give them the coin they asked for (if it was under 10k).

    BUT the last time i did it, was some noob asking me for 5k in south arch by the auction, i gave it to them, then they didnt even say thank you. that'll be the last time i do that.

    I was once in a nice giving mood gave a guy who needed 10k he said, and as soon as I did he went back to shouting he needs 10k if anyone had it.

    I don't know. This is my first MMORPG. So I didn't know, that's normal in games. But it started after inflation. Before inflation nobody wanted money from me.

    just like in RL if you give money to beggars they'll keep doing that instead of finding a way to get the money with their own effort.

    I've been bankrupt many times but always made sure I had ammo for my weapon. As long as I have ammo I can grind and make money. In fact during that last double exp double drop weekend I had no coins. ZERO. I made one million grinding. Not a lot compared to other people, but grinding makes you money with or without increased drops. If someone needs money, they can do what I do every day, grind. I did it, they can too. If they can't afford pots and such, they're going to have to do a lot of sitting down. The money can be made to get the job done. There is very little if no excuse to ask anyone for money. Learn to manage your money properly and budget. I've ran out of money many times, on purpose of course buying something I needed but knowing I can make the money back by grinding, I've also never asked another player for money, that's just ridiculous.

    I mean sure....if it's a level 5 (anything but elves) stuck somewhere with level 90 mobs or something....then ya me would probably loan em some cash to teleport.

    Reminds me of the time I was in Etherblade. Some level 7 asked me for 100k, and when I said I didn't have it (which was true) he then went and swore at me for a couple minutes. I was shocked. Some people actually EXPECT hand outs.

    Real life is like that too.

    I saw a hobo begging for money for "food." When someone brought him food, he threw it at them and shouted that he "asked for money."

    The person who brought the food then beat his **** for being ungrateful. It was awesome.

    Isn't it bannable to beg other players for things? I don't know about PWI, but it is in most games. Start taking screenies and send in tickets XD mebbe we'll teach the ingrates a lesson >.>

    Lol, earlier I was on my level 13 cleric and I stopped by the Plume skill teacher, and all of a sudden, I get a whisper asking for coin so they could purchase a dress. I whispered them back and asked them, "How much coin do you think a level 13 cleric actually has right now?" I then rattled off about how they should earn things themselves and stuff, lol, not going into details.

    But it's bloody irritating when I get whispers like that. If it was something like reasonable and if they ask nicely about it and it seems they ARE needy of it, then sure, I'll cough up some coins...but if they are going to beg nonstop and be rude about it, forget about me being kind back. s:

    They started to beg outside of the starter cities and brought it to archosaur.
    I personally dont like handing money over to another player.b:surrender

    Stopped after this lvl 20 veno pm'd me asking if I had a drake. My veno did and I was planning on selling it, but she wanted to buy it for 2k.b:lipcurl I denied the request as anyone would. She replied back to me with " Awh Darn!! 3rd year I have played this game and I can't get a drake."

    Fail on her part it was during the 1 year pwi anniversary event. When the duke wouldn't stop shouting and that lovely "Happy One Year " system message would pop up.

    I no longer feel the self pity on players who are to lazy to play the game after that.

    somwon asked for 100k once and i barly had 80k i said no then they cussed a bit the next day i saw them outside west arch attacking a guard (spark sandstorm stone rain gush) 3 shot then he cussed more >.<.

    You have a few options.

    1. Ignore them, they'll give up if you don't say anything.

    2. Tell them to get stuffed (As satisfying as this may be, it often leads to abuse, if immature.)

    3. If they really are new, then give them some tips, they'll either thank you and go about their business, or leave because you won't give them anything.

    I'm probably just stating the obvious here, but old habits die hard.

    I've definitely had that..and I *hate* beggars.

    I don't know how they think... even if it's a game, I absolutely refuse to give up my pride enough to beg someone for pixel money. I'll live by whatever I can afford, and level according to my own abilities. b:angry

    I have played 2 MMORPG's and in both there are beggers. I don't understand it.

    Besides, anyone who begging for money at start when game is so easy. How is that person going to last in game? I'm positive that player will quit soon if they consider the start of game too hard. That being the case, your money will just be wasted on a player who quit soon.

    Funny thing is, they waste so much time begging, it would be easily possible to make more money leveling and playing game then they make sitting in city with there hand out. Makes no sense. Why do they even play video game just to beg for money?

    I always tell the beggers to go do quests and farm. They get all butt hurt. Oh well. I worked for everything I have. They can do the same.
