PWI...Celebrities?

I started checking the PWI forums lately and by doing that I realized (of course, adding my exp in game) that there are some ppl that are considered "celebrities" or famous ppl in PW.... lol. I saw a thread about "famous couples", also responses on thread posts or WC where some ppl said "who are u?" to others ppl (like establishing they're nobodies compared to them) and a lot of other unbelievable stuff to me. Why do some ppl consider they're famous or important, and why do that matters to others? This is a game, where u just create a character and play with it on your free time, what makes ppl feel superior or successful about this?, to the point that they think about themselves at celebrities? and what drives some others to think about this "celebrities" as that lol?. I wanna share this with all of u guys and see what u think about it.

    b:chuckle Well I doubt you have logged in recently. Of course there are celebrities and the "famous" people in-game. Sooner or later that was bound to happen since it pretty much happens to every society.

    Anyways, some people are just better known than others since their more active in game I guess. Besides, its mostly gossip and stuff like that that makes people famous b:laugh

    Yes it's very **** being a non-factor and a factor it's short for who is the biggest attention *****!
    People like saying that I love attention truth is to love attention in this game you also got to draw attention to you in the game.
    A lot of these people are truly non factors because they never heard of them mostly because I would say not even half of this server comes to the forums.
    BTW you can't be a celebrity unless your well known in the game which is mostly impossible unless you stick your nose in everyone's **** and are always on world chat.
    Trust me it's better to be a non-factor because lots of people won't hate you and call you a moron, I mean really who ever uses the non factor and factor Bs is ****ing weird imob:shocked

    I agree with that part, since I get lots of hate when I play on the game.. (You know who you are b:surrender) and yeah, its weird having random people just come up to me and say "die" and "get off the forums" and other stuff like that.

    But I personally don't care about the popularity thing since I know I'm hated, don't need to know who else hates me b:chuckle

    Spoons is off it's tha weekend and I haven't saw any mods come here like in a while they prob scared of harshlands forumsb:surrender

    Actually those posts are great too Hope!, that shows how ppl struggle to be "popular" even in this thread lol. My conclusion is that ppl do have a huge need to feel popular and accepted, what amaze me is that this happens even in a game.

    usually u are famous for being high lvl.. being an officer in kd or ky (sometimes)
    being a d.bag on wc... but usually its because u have been on the server long enough for people to see u.. unfortunately u get nothing more than appearing on a stupid poll... GG
