Glicthed Lock?

OKay so the other day I decided to try PVP I was told locks a good thing to have on so i set my Time to 5hours 44 mins (Random) And I knew I wasn't gonna be able to buy anything and stuff so I logged off and back on my time was reset so I set it to 1 minute and it said'Set:1minute Time left :25 mins I guess that's what was left over from the last time I relogged so after that time went out I was able to buy things again and trade ect,so I was questing and I got that bug warning **** and when I logged back my lock was reset back to 5 hours Why's that?Why doesn't it stay at one minute?And after my duration went out why did it reset on me?AGAIN Does not make sense yes theres a 3 day waiting period for the 1 minute time to take effect and yes if you reset it again the time starts I KNOW THIS BUT that's for people who set it to long I'm lost on WHY did it reset AFTER my duration time of 5 hours and 44 mins go out how do I make it stay off after it goes out again?I set it to one minute it takes it off I relog and it's set back to 5 hours 44mins AGAIN anyone got a clear answer?The three day thing is bull...so don't bother with that **** Thank you

    You have to wait 3 days for it to take effect.

    Safety lock doesn't give you a warning when after you set it.
    did your client crash.....?

    also.........set it to whatever time you want....THEN WAIT 3 DAYS. DON'T MESS WITH THE SETTINGS DURING THE 3 DAYS

    Safety lock.....
    Refer to the sticky in tech support.
    but here be a quick overview on how to use it.....
    1. Set Duration of Lock.
    2. Log Out of Account then log back in to make sure Lock Activates
    3. Have fun. When duration of the lock reaches 0 or close to 0. Log off completely from the account and log back in to restart the lock.
    4. To Set the Lock back to 1 minute (or any value lower then it's current setting.)
    a. Set the new duration.
    b. Wait 3 days.
    c. Presto New duration is set.
    (*Note to raise the duration of the safety lock doesn't have a waiting period.*)

    the only way to keep it off is if you stay logged in after the safety lock has been deactivated. just keep your char logged in. if you got bugs, well that sucks. in the future when you go pvp, only set it to like 40 mins or somthing so you dont have to wait so long to sell stuff

    If you use the special shampoo it should get rid of the bugs in about a week or so.

    So I can NEVER log off?Or my lock will reset ?That's stupid..

    I know I know..but when I set it to 1 minute the FIRST TIME the duration went out and I was able to buy stuff and ANYTIME I re log it resets..I read in a diffrent forum the duration of the three days goes on reguardless but when I set it to 1minute and I wait three days I log back on the times at 5hours again?I DID WAIT it still doesn't go off.

    Mayhaps?That english?I've explained all I can about it the best I can and I set it wensday it's saturday now that's three days And when I logged on it's still at 5 mins 44 seconds..I logged out completely like I was told to all it does is rest the time I don't want it RESET I want it OFF I waited my three days b:angryb:angry

    So now my lock is at 5 hours forever?PWI really really needs to get they're stuff straight..I'll wait ANOTHER three days for it to reset on that minute **** BUT when I log it goes back to 5 hours on another forum a 'GM' Wrote the 3 day duration will expire reguardless if your logged in or not so in other words if my time set is at 5 hours the 3 day waiting period for that 1 minute **** is still going aslongest I don't reset it?

    if you want to lower the duration you can.
    after 3 days it sets to whatever duration you set it to.
    You don't have to be logged in for 3 days.
    just 3 days have to pass from the time when you set it to a lower duration.

    ......did you actually set it to a lower time?
    are you sure you just didn't set it to 5 hours from 5 hours 44 minutes?

    DO NOT TOUCH THE SETTINGS ON YOUR SAFETY LOCK if you had set it to 1 minute, it will take 3 REAL days for it to change to 1 minute,which means wheter you are logged in or not, the change will be occuring. SO UNTIL THE 3 DAYS IS UP your seftey lock will be at 5 hours and 44 mins whenever you log in. dont worry, time goes by fast :)

    No.You can log out just don't touch it and there is sticky in the Tech Forum about this.

    THANK YOU FINALLY THAT WAS MY QUESTION THE WHOLE DAMN TIME THANK YOU for answering That was my confused part cause when I logged I didn't get how it would change back to 5 hourrs 44minutes and still 3 days later change to 1 minute THANK YOU!! Have a good one ;p

    Do note that 3 days in this context means 72 hours straight.
