Try not to post twice in a row Steve, most people who frequent the forums frown upon it.

As far as leveling, doing your quests at any level is a good way to level. At level 30 you get a daily quest that will help a lot, but you shouldn't need to grind at all at least until that level if not higher (depending on how fast you want to level).

But for now, just do all your quests.

You won't always have to level every skill as soon as you get it. At lower levels you will run out of spirit, but don't worry about it. There are times when you'll have an abundance of spirit as well.

As for skills to max, I'd suggest checking out the stickies for that. b:cute

Just do your quests. imo only after level 44ish you feel the need to grind a bit.
Even that is now removed with bounty hunter quests b:victory

Up to about 30 you can lvl easily by just doing quests. After 30 you get your first daily which will speed up lvling. Also after 40 you get to do Bounty Hunter quests as your second daily quest. If you do both and your quests, you won't be grinding much until higher lvls.

You can also use oracles but I suggest you don't. Many people who lvl up too much through oracles end up having a high lvl character that they don't really know how to play. b:cute

I been playing for about a month now... I have 2 characters a 32 BM and this 34 CL. I find it that doing quest is the fastest way to level up. I just started doing my daily quest yesterday (just found out about it LOL). Also the guys and gals from my fraction help me out too.

I usually go around getting all the quest that are available at the moment and make up a huge kill list. 200 to 250 enemies. Then squad with a 1 or 2 high level tanks from my fraction and clear the board in a few... I dont get much experience per kill (1 or 2 pts) but i get all my bonus experience for completing the quest. I get to the levels faster that way but I do suffer on having a higher level character for the enemies im fighting so be careful. I run from Lvl 20 enemies sometimes because i put most of my points into mag so i really cant take a hit.

I'm learning to play my class more and more as i go... I help as much as I can with healing and revives for those fallen. I do know my place in the food chain and i dont jump the gun. You can say i sit back heal my friends and let them do the dirty work. is a win win for everyone... They dont die, I dont die I like that LOL

    D.

PS: I just met a few high level clerics today and they are also teaching me the ropes... There is so much to learn... but I can honestly say i like my Cleric better than my Blade Master...

I have a love affair with oracles. Before that I did all my quest and then grind vipions until I leveled. I do agree with Michibiku, dont get to dependent on the oracles. But once you feel you have a good understanding of the class, go crazy. I just now learned that the quest list can become FULL! I have so many quest left because I use oracles once I get about 40% So time to clear my quest log.

*Now I admit at level 55 I probably dont have a great understanding of this class but I love me some oracles.

Keep questing for sure in the beginning. If you have to grind, grind.

At level 30, start doing CS (Crazy Stone) and FQ (Friend Quest) everyday, no exceptions if you want to level up.

Then at 40+, start BH (Bounty Hunter) and keep up the CS and FQ

Level 50+, start focusing on your quests again but keep doing BH and CS. FQ at that point is worthless really unless you need 5k experience to level up.

However one thing is, if you really want to level up quickly, don't help others. I'm serious, I personally hate not helping people but if you want to level up, you have to focus on yourself and not die all the time.

Only do FB (Boss's) if they're yours or if your confident you won't die and if you don't, you don't die over the EXP given.

    Hope that helps b:byeb:chuckle

    Edit:

Oh yeah and before I forget, don't do Oracles. Waste of money no offense and you need the skills. If you Oracle, welcome to the Oracle life where fails live.

If you don't oracle, then your on the good side I promise you b:victory Work hard, feel good afterwords. I mean, your life is fail if all you do is oracle and swamp the oracle spots b:scorn

i think a good cleric has to be involved in instance runs of one type or another just to be familiar with how that works because a cleric is a more squad-oriented class and being able to work in a squad is kind of expected of high level clerics.

i bet if i grinded my way to the 90s with a cleric rather than my archer i'd look like a big noob oracle or not b:chuckle
