Too Hi-level 4 Low-mats?

I'm LEVEL42 & having trouble getting SILK THREAD/ROUGH FUR/PURIFIED OIL.
I looked up SILK THREAD

& the highest level mob is 37[17% drop](ALLIES CAMP) & I killed 50 of them

& got 1 Thread... is it harder 2 get them when UR higher level than the mob?

    Yes.Otherwise we would have high levels AoEing anything that drops rough fur.

    Of course a much harder even impossible when you are too high.

    No wonder its so expensive.. time 2 make an alternate character!! b:victory

    So is it WHITE NAME monsters & under for MATERIALS?
    Or same LEVEL & under?

    cuz I'm LVL42 & its a LEVEL37 mob....

    be like 2 levels below teh mob for maximum drop rate?

    if you be equal or below the mob the drop rate is better.

    Drop rate decreases as you get higher than the mob you killing. So a 3x character will have a better shot at getting that thread than you will.
