What does the worlds even do?

my PWI player was in harshland but then my brother told me that when you get to lvl 30 i can get kill right away and lose my stuff out of the safe zone is that true? and can you tell me the differice between all the worlds thx.b:victory

    Lost City and Harshlands are PvP servers. This means at level 30, your name will turn white and you can both kill everyone with a white or red name, and be killed by everyone with a white or red name. If you're red (you turn red from killing white names), you have a chance to drop items when you're killed.

    Every other server, the PvE servers, give you a choice at level 30. You can turn white whenever you'd like, but there's a time limit to go back to being bluename. If you choose to go white on PvE servers all the same rules apply.

    just a much smaller chance.

    Officially 1% chance to drop items just in your inventory, but from experience it's much less.

    I've died hundreds of times, and only had an item drop once. So I consider that percent negligible. b:chuckle

    Yeah you can lose stuff. Thats why I dont carry anything with me when leaving safe zones. No money, or anything that I wanna keep. So just leave town with only what you need.

    Well, you can actually exploit the mechanic by carrying worthless items. Typically, you drop items before coins, so if you carried say...sadness cards and your coin, the sadness cards would potentially drop first, even though you have far more coin than cards.
