On many of the genie attack skills, it says it deals double damage to very close targets. What qualifies as close?

Is it? I have no big experience with this skill. Mine is level just 3. I would like to use this skill only at cube room 47. I want do this room without charm. So I was wondering using this spell there.

It just does bad damage and takes a LOT of energy. Domain would be more useful, same for tree of protection and just about anything else.

I'm going to check this domain. So expel looks even better. But bramble at lv. 10 should be so bad.
