I've heard afew veno complain about their pets lately - particularly their herc. Apparently the pet isn't doing what it's told? Lol naughty pet xD
By not doing what it's told I mean not comming back when u tell it to, and even randomly running around in circles. Just wondering if this sorta thing is common or it a big selection of venos o.o

Lol, nicely said.
Although my pet listens to me well, sometimes too well. At one point my veno was auto attacking everything that attacked it, without ever coming back to me, just had to heal it, even though it was on default setting.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]That my veno. b:bye0 -
While my pets have never "glitched" in such a fashion (mainly because I recall them by stowing them), I have noticed some of my pets have... attitude.
My Sharptooth Wolfling, the pet I got at level 2. Yeah. The minute I say, "Attack," he's off and running regardless of where he was standing a second ago. Also regardless of whether I'm standing still or not. He just goes and goes and goes...
My other two wolf pets? "Sorry, boss, we're not going anywhere until you stop moving, then we'll be happy to play fetch". b:surrender0 -
I've been experiencing that regardless of loyalty. Its especially irritating in FB's where I'm trying to mob and my herc just keeps attacking the same monster ignoring my alt+1 command (inbeforeoutofrangeBS), which I hate using since I use window mode. Which makes an annoying ping sound because its Window's toolbar hotkey for mouseless control, and alt+1 is not a valid command causing the error ping.
My other pets are the same, but nix especially, getting stuck in mid air just sitting there while its being attacked. I have to change mode or order to remove its agro before trying to attack the target again. This happens most frequently if its first attack is a skill or commanded to attack a new target immediately after finishing off an old target.
I noticed these issues started around patch 203.0 -
Yes! I've been experiencing this for quite a while.
My herc (and even other pets) can be really disobiediant and slow. Regularly I have to click the Roar skill several times to get him to use it. He keeps stowing himself on certain steep surfaces or shallow waters and rarely comes back to you in less than 5 seconds after you told him to follow. Some places he glitches-out as if there are invisible barriers that he's trying to find a way through, such as near Dreamweaver Port.
And sometimes when I get aggro'd, he's reluctant to attack (or even do anything) to take aggro off me, so I end up getting chased by a bunch of vicious mobs and he just follows or continues attacking what he's already attacking.
Air pets are terrible on the ground as they keep getting "stuck".Non-mule characters:

For the running off randomly thing-- if your pet is on defense, and, it's attacking several mobs at once, if one that it's killed has had enough time for a replacement to respawn, that goes onto its aggro list.
So you can have the chain go on forever as long as the respawns stay in range of the pet, you don't give the pet any commands, and the pet doesn't finish all mobs before the next respawn.
Aggro gets reset whenever you order the pet to do something or the pet comes back to you, so, that's what keeps it from happening constantly.0 -
For some reason my high loyalty pet sometimes tent to go wild on its own xD ... and got me into trouble a few times ...
The worst it ever did was while i was just standing around talking with a friend ... at some point we noticed my wolf wasn't standing nxt to us and that it was losing hp ... when i unsummoned it we had to deal with some sort of miniboss walkign around in the area.
Except from that my wolf often go on a rampage even when its on default settings.
About the problem with callign it back ... depending on wether u mean unsummon or make it sit and then follow (makes it run back to u) it is not a bug. If it is unsummon/common lure tactic then it is a bug yes =/ ... if it is sit then follow also used for pullign more mobs, then its not a bug ... at least i don't think so ... if the pet is hit hard before it get to run away it will turn around and attack again.Dreamsweavers GhostDogz are looking for you to join the pack . We are still small but are growing into a fun, friendly and helpful fact. We value that our lower lvls also get the experience they need for their class, so we get some awsome ppl . all we ask of u is to be okay active (not has to be on 7days a week, 1 is enough) and to bring ur good mood =3 cya ingame!
