Question about Firestorm

Is Firestorm any good? It's the only one besides Sunder that deals more then 100% of weapon damage, and its kinda an AoE. But testing it out hasn't really shown me anything amazing.

Anyone else have any thoughts about this?

    i think is good in someway...if u have free spr and coin to use is fine...


    i used it during AoE runs, since we have few aoe, is nice to fill the gap between a skill and other...

    is aoe, it does DoT and has good damage output, the only downside is that consumes a spark...

    if u can afford it...why not b:chuckleb:victory ?

    I rarely use it, except when DD on a boss as secondary barb. I don't mind it using up a spark, since I don't feel a need to conserve when not a tank. Mine's still at 5 or 6 though.

    the big problem is it takes a spark. its fairly mediocre, especially when you could just spark yourself and use swell and slam for better aoe effect and immediate damage. BTW, anyone on HT server wanna buy my demon firestorm book? b:laugh

    I use it when i AoE grind, it's a decent skill with a decent-high damage, for us barbs anyway.

    It fits nicely in my AoE grind, tiger to lure/gather mobs - either sunder or turtle, depends on the amount of mobs on me - humanoid - swell - slam - firestorm - repeat.

    Make sure that you have bestial rage on at all times for chi.

    Also, when you slam you must position your self so that firestorm hits +90% of the mobs.

    Me personal i like firestorm its does good dmg +the fire dmg helps alot i use it alot when im grindin and sometimes in pvp mines lvl7 and im tryin to max it out

    In duels! Against barbs & bms. You heard it from me... spark & let this bad boy rip; the magic dmg hits bms very hard, especially since they are usually buffing themselves against phy dmg :D

    you could even double spark a firestorm... use onslaught first to make sure it hits, though.
