Only Str BM?

hey
i have a question

I read in all threads that Bm should go like 6 str 3 dex 1 vit and so on

But I only going in str
Every level 5 in str and thats it.
Only ones in 10 level in dex for heavy armor.

So its good? Or will i get heavy problems in later levels because of the missing Hp and less accuracy, crit rate?

By the way Im a Axe Bm level 38 at the moment

    Ugh.... sorry to say this... but not only you will have a low HP, but at some point the only thing u are going to see on your screen is going to be "Miss".
    Crit rate will be... well, throw a party every time u, hit first, and then crit.

    Builds to follow?

    VIT/STR (with min dex)
    STR/DEX (with min vit)
    Pure STR/DEX

    Pure STR? i dont recomend it at all, basically because thats a Pure Axe path (which is VERY limited) and you are going to need those 3 remaining points (remember 6 str+ 1 dex) on VIT to sucessfully AoE and take hits (many of those because u miss hits).

    get items with +accuracy. you NEED them. later on, if you wish to do some PvP, be aware archers have high evasion and you'll miss mostly.

    if you buy charms from cash shop then your base vitality is just fine.

    bms are different from mages or archers, full mag mages don't miss and hit hard and can kill you from far, archers do more damage with dex and they gain accuracy at the same time and obviously it's a range class, but bm is melee class so you need vit to survive and you do melee physical damage so you miss if your accuracy is too low or if your opponent's evasion is too high.

    that's why you need both vit and dex in addition to str ofc...

    unless you're a heavy cser, which may solve your hp issue but not dex one because if your base accuracy is **** you won't get a lot even with 2 misties (or fc rings) besides your crit rate will be low.

    if u plan on spending all ur time pvp vs archers then yea more dex is a good idea,but if not ull have no big problems going pure str with dex min, jus get 2 misty rings and amber shards and u wont miss mobs 2 often, so far has hp jus shard ur gears with hp and refine to atleast lvl 3 and ull be fine, also look for gears with hp, ull have alittle less hp and alot more dmg, aoe will b alot of funb:pleasedb:victory

    I dont recomend going with a min dex in the late stages of the game when chars are more dex based... not to mention archers (miss miss miss miss...etc). You are going to miss vital hits and stuns, you dont want that. 2 mistys do nothing with a low base acc, even if you shard with ambers...

    And better dex means more crit too, add that to a zerk/gloom weapon and watch the big numbers on your screen come out. So more chances of a real good spike damage for PvP.

    Edit: Ow, btw, forgot to mention... Dex means evasion too so, pure STR/VIT chars are going to miss those vital hits and stuns (in case of BMs). And every time that u see the enemy waste a spark on a missed stun u you will smile.... oh boy believe me... you will XP

    Try this: Start changing ur stats NOW! I started as a 4-1 Str. to Dex. BM until I hit level 20. I changed over to a 2-2-1 stat. Vit.-Dex.-Str. I've been progressing nicely. Others may disagree, but I like the weapon swap feature that my BM has access to. I carry Hammers and a bow. Swap to Hammers after three arrows to get in close. But I'm only a 30, so it's really all up to want u want in the end. I do agree that if u don't start putting some Vit. on, ur not going very far. U have to remember, ur second in line in a Dungeon, most of the time ur up there in front w/ the Barb! If u haven't got the Vit., ur back row is not going to be too happy.

    Im now only going for PvE for a fast leveling.
    So i dont need much Dex because i didnt do PvP.
    At the moment all going well.
    Maybe at 50 or 60 i would change my stats.
    But now this extra str giving me a good DMG bonus and of every mob i miss only 2-3 attacks and get a crit at every third mob.

    So i think it will be good.
    Thx for answers.
    One more question can i later reset my stats?
    To Exchange from a PvE BM to PvP?

    Yes, you can restat using reset scrolls from the cash shop. And you will find yourself using them sooner or later. Believe me. AoEing with a low dex and low vit isnt going to be pleasant, or cheap...

    PEOPLE ALWAYS FOR GET that there is a thing called accu pills -.-

    They get your accu up to around 6k, you won't miss. Im going mainly strength with low vit and almost min dex, I'll see how that goes, I can always restat.


    P.S. Im currently high vit for grinding

    Go for it. It's basically a full-vit build with str instead of the vit. Might not be the most standard of builds, but you could make it work and it beats being like everyone else.

    Accuracy will be an issue. At lower levels it makes no difference though, PvE is so easy 75% hitrate wont hurt much. At higher levels, you'd want to get 2 misties, a double socket axe with high level amber and a neck/belt with multiple accuracy add's.

    Make sure you have base weapon dex and shard/refine your armour well for HP. Good luck.

    You make these. I know for sure you can make them with lv5 or 6 apothecary, not sure about earlier levels.

    So I can go on to skill only str and minimal dex for heavy armor because in highlevel I get enough dex though rings,pills and armor?

    I asked a Bm level 44 as i was 41 and i did 300 min dmg more and had 400 more phys def he had only 200, or 400 sry i cant remember.
    In my eyes its fine and better then the normal stat skillng because more dmg faster PvE and the 400 more def balance the 400 hp.
    By the way we both were unbuffed and same weapons.
