What to aim for in the 80s?

Ah, simple. I've personally decided that at 81, when the Crazy Stone starts costs 71,550 coins, I would stop doing it for a while and instead focus on upgrading skills and gear.
This is about what I look like right now. The non-legendary items' mods I am not sure of, but nothing significant.
Of course, in the higher 80s, I'll probably go for Sky Demon's Pearl and Rings of Heavenly Lord, but that's of mild interest to me right now, still being 80.
For upgrades, I was thinking of the TT80 necklace and belt, possibly the ring too. I'm not too sure if I should go Blood Bracers of Fang or the TT80 Bracers.
But my biggest problem would probably be the weapon. The ideal option would be Crimson Horn: Soulsmasher, but I doubt I'll get it. Other than that, there's Striker for PvE and Flashfire for PvP. However, I'm not too sure if Striker is that wise a choice, as the increase in DPH over my +3 Wind and the Clouds seems insignificant and, from what I can see, it would have less DPS.
TL;DR:
TT80 Ornaments, Yes or No?
Striker or Flashfire, Yes or No?
TT80 Bracers or Blood Bracers of Fang?
Damn it now I feel like a total newbie.

If you can afford it use Misty Rings, the array of TT80 ornaments aren't very interesting for Archers. The Misty Rings also offer a lot of accuracy, which is important in PvP, you could use 2 Heavenly Lords purely for PvE. You'll probably want to have the TT80 Lunar Chaser wristguards. They're better and they can ultimately be made into the TT90 Gold wrists, which add -Interval.
Your armor set seems fine atm, cept for the unstatted boots/wrist. If you want, you can change to Boots of Tiger Str. the added speed is nice. I'm not sure if you should use the Sky Demons just yet. Remember, it only adds 5% HP, which in an Archers case is probably not even 300 HP in most cases until 95+, I'd pick an Ornament with DEX or some other useful things on it.
Keep the Wind and Clouds and just save up money for a Heaven Shatterer if you're undecided about which weapon to use. At this point you have limited cash, so I really wouldnt start buying/making different weapons for PvP/PvE when there's so much more things you need right now.
TT80 Ornaments, Yes or No? - No
Striker or Flashfire, Yes or No? - Both no
TT80 Bracers or Blood Bracers of Fang? - TT80[SIGPIC]lol[/SIGPIC]0 -
EDIT: Before starting... why would you go with Average on 69+ gear? on Lion Spirit I would have gone G8 Citrines hehe. Unless you are intending to use Aqua Visciousness anytime soon... which is not advisable. ///
TT80 Ornaments, Yes or No? NOOOOO
Id go for them if I had the mats or money. Although I do fine with Pirate King's Seal and Equine Talisman. Depends on how much you are intending to PvP. In PvP you need every chance you can get to deal more damange and to reduce the damage taken by certain percentage. For PvE and ocassional PvP purposes (hey, a red name, click, stunning arrow...) I think the legendary ornaments will work fine.
Striker or Flashfire, Yes or No? STICK TO W&C BUT HAVE A PVP WEAPON AT HAND
Id stick to the W&C. I might even fo +4 if I had the money. It should work fine. Remember the 70 weapon comparison somewhere, dont have time to post link. Flash Fire, you are gonna need it for Blinding Radiance anyway, so if you wanna craft it yourself, then you should definitely get it. Another thing is... there is no possible way you need to ocassionally PvP with W&C, I mean, maybe it works fine with an arcane cleric or wizzie, but... What have you been using thourgh your 70s? ThunderCrack? W&C only?
TT80 Bracers or Blood Bracers of Fang? FANG IF YOU ARE POOR AKA ARCHER
Same as the ornaments. I dont want to assume nothing and go with "TT gear on PvE?", its up to how often and how hard do you want to PvP. If you are short of coinage, Fang should suffice.
Either way, you need TT80 to get T90 Skywalker set, right? unless you wanna get those already crafted and sharded.
It would be easier to sell a slightly refined already sharded legendary equipment rather than expensive TT gear. On the other hand, I dont know how common TT gear is on PvE servers. I dont know how many ppl PvP and if they are willing to spend so much on it. But... ok. I think its all here.0 -
Hmm I would save up for Heaven Shatterer since its a pretty good bow. But if youre a fan of xBows or feel that the bow is not acquirable, then continue with the Flashfire and then move onto Blinding Radiance.
Edit: You need TT80 stuff for TT90 Gold armours but not for the TT90 Green ones0 -

I've gone with Averages because the Shinguards came with them and because I ran out of money to put 200k on each socket. And I am not planning to use Aqua, I just happened to get the mold for Lion Spirit for 150k recently, turned out 2 socketsb:cry Also, since the Shinguards came with G5's in it, changing that to G6's wouldn't be very coin efficient. Well, at 180k each G6, that would be 25k per point of HP. Not really worth it.Striker or Flashfire, Yes or No? STICK TO W&C BUT HAVE A PVP WEAPON AT HAND

I've been rushing to level until now, so I've been doing purely PvE now. Notice the server?TT80 Bracers or Blood Bracers of Fang? FANG IF YOU ARE POOR AKA ARCHER

Yes, I suppose both work. Mainly the point being that I will probably spent quite a bit of time in the 80s since I'm far from being able to afford RBs and the wine costs and shard costs for CS and BH are starting to get a bit tight too.Kireina - Dreamweaver wrote: »If you can afford it use Misty Rings, the array of TT80 ornaments aren't very interesting for Archers. Oh, I have completely forgotten about the TT90 Golds. Been too busy crying about the insane price of Bracers of Blood Moon, I suppose.Your armor set seems fine atm, cept for the unstatted boots/wrist. The boots and wrist have some insignificant stats. I believe the wrists have like dex +7 total and the boots have double or triple resistances.
As for Sky Demon's Pearl. I could get the mold with the 40 chips I got from the Supply Stash, so I'd consider that a pretty good trade off, comes to like 700k for the mold fee, plus whatever mats it takes.Keep the Wind and Clouds and just save up money for a Heaven Shatterer if you're undecided about which weapon to use. Ah, I suppose that makes sense. Well, I was considering just refining my W&C further. Well, 85 Dragon Orbs for to go to +5 from where I am now. That comes to what, 8,5M? Still cheaper than even half of CH:S.
Oh well, for now, I suppose I could just as well focus on getting some more legendaries. Oh, and also, +1'ing each piece of gear. At least. If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

For PvE, I'd recommend finding a bracers with some sort of -Interval. Even -0.05 Interval is fine. This would help out more than the TT80 bracers of the Fang ones.
I used Nature's Breath for my necklace until 85, whereupon got TT80 necklace for cheap. At lvl 87, I sold my TT80 necklace at a 1m profit, and got SDP.
By the way, Blood Birds north of City of the Lost. Easy to get to, drops well, and easy to kill.
EDIT: Also, a +4 W&C goes for about 2m-3m on HT server. What's it like on yours? You may be able to simply get a new W&C and sell your old one.0 -

80+ either the nix's @ burning heart or undines. I started undines @ 78 and with a miji and a party they are the best grinding spot. I dont recommend the bloodbird .... not worth the time.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Poor thing ... lucky me b:victory0 -
+2 your gears
all of them
minimum
its cheap (average of 10 miriages per armor/ornament)
it gives significant boosts to hp and resists
its cheap
every time i see a +1 peice of tt 80 gear i die a little inside. you have a long way to 90 invest in gear a little
+5 W&C beats srtiker any day. soulsmasher will last you well into your 90's if you can afford it and + it but its mainly a PvP weaponGifs are hard to make work here0 -

No it's not. TT Crossbows are until 95.[SIGPIC]lol[/SIGPIC]0 -

your gear is horrible...
+2 it if you can
find ornaments with +105 HP or more adds. They are very common
Get better boots
I use 3 star 84 arcane sleeves that are close to blood bracer of fang, you should get those if you can.Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze0 -
Dirt Cheap PvE: W&C -> Windcatcher (Temporary) -> Striker: Glare
Striker can be found in the AH for a cheap price, so there's no need to farm mats for that. The other mats for Striker: Glare are reasonable.
Otherwise, if you can afford it, aim for Broad Land. It is in the best tier until level 95. The price on HT has been dropping for it, and I foresee with my oracular powers that it will drop further.
And while I have no experience with PvP, I *think* Broad Land is good for PvP as well. Don't quote me on that, though.0 -
I would rather go for blinding radiance than broad land. Blinding radiance has almost same dps and its much cheaper.Striker glare sucks it has unreasonable add ons for a sling exept 100 phy attack.THE GAME IS DEAD b:byeb:byeb:bye0
-
Blinding Radiance has a lower DPS than both Broad Land and Striker: Glare.
EDIT: If you plan on getting the TT99 Crossbow, then, yes, Blinding Radiance is a better choice.0
