Ok.. so i went through the pros and cons.. Yes I like to attk. but normally when im in a group, asked to group... etc.. its to be a healer not atk. Im an arcane full mag cleric so it just kinda makes sense, plus i get a good feeling inside (all fluffy n stuff) when i save someone :P

NOW.. I have been browsing the AH for my sage skills (solid circle is sage right?) and im wondering.. are the books only DROPPED??? or can they be made?

Also.. which skills would OTHER sage clerics suggest getting first??? im guessing heals of course lol. but if there is another route I should take of course I would love to know :D

NOW.. since I also started playing with shards (i know.. such a nub i am:P) should i put in equal amounts of +hp shards and pys def or more then one over the other...

These are the confusing parts :P

EDIT... Oh oh i forgot.. is it 0 xp loss for both for revive? or just sage or just demon.. I wanted to make sure i am useful in reviving in parties if boo boos happen :d TY!
INPUT IS MUCH APPRICIATED!!! <3<3

    You can get your skills through drops in fb89 and fb99. But right now because of the Anni packs, you can use tokens to make skills with mystical pages or advanced mystical pages.

    Also.. which skills would OTHER sage clerics suggest getting first??? im guessing heals of course lol. but if there is another route I should take of course I would love to know :D

    My first four skills were (since they were easy to get): Plume shell, Cyclone and Blessing [although rarely use] and IH....through packs I have gotten all others. IF you can get IH (got LUCKY with the pages and randomly got this as 4th skill) GET IT. It is awesome. The rest for me was when I was able to get them. Concentrate on your heals and attacks. The ones that I waited on were mainly the debufss, thunderball (I dont have and dont want) and razor feathers. You know which are the more important ones. =)

    NOW.. since I also started playing with shards (i know.. such a nub i am:P) should i put in equal amounts of +hp shards and pys def or more then one over the other...

    I personally was all HP sharded until I hit level 100 and started getting my HH99 and event gear. Now I am solid pdef with refine for HP. It really depends, more personal choice.

    These are the confusing parts :P

    Level 11 Revive is awesome. No exp loss and with Sage it extends to 40 meters, which in a tight situation works great and in TW.

    Btw --> I LOVE being Sage b:cute

    RoidAbuse is awesome, only he would sell his sperm for gear!!

    Those are 79 and 100 skills.

    You need to exchange the tokens from the anniversary packs at the Forges in 1k or at a Boutique agent. It is 50 (I think) mystical pages for 1 random book (89 skills).

    30 advanced mystical pages (same price as above) to make a 92 akill at the Librarian in 1k. Or you can get a skill clip (I think 3000 tokens for all the pages you need) that will give you 10 skills at once.

    You can also exchange Old Book Pages (20) at the forges in 1k for a 92 skill. You can get those in Rebirth/GV.

    Fate Pages from the cube (must be 90 to receive) and you can make 99 skills. 30 Pages of Fate for one random skill.

    I went on ecatombs site to see the difference in skills. I can understand why each is appealing depending on what you like to do or how you like to play. One high level cleric in my guild who went sage, said they did so at the time because those skills were more available, but wishes he went demon.

    Regardless my question is, are there level 89 skills not shown on the skill tree and what are they? I ask this because next to the mysterious merchant in 1k Streams there is someone who sells skill books with skill names I don't recognize from the skill tree. They are also not listed (as far as I could see) on ecatomb. What are these skills and what do they do? Are they different for demon vs Sage? How do you obtain them? Are they spirit only required skills or do you need books or pages?

    Or am I just imagining these lol?

    WHAT????

    Wow...Sage skills are relatively cheap (depending on your definition) on LC. Mainly bc a good majority are demon.

    Sage Plume Shot is prob no more then 3mill.

    It is when you get the more rare/wanted after ones where things can get pricey - IH, Revive, Tempest (but they are SOOOO worth having)

    That listing in ecatomb though doesn't have the same names as PWI so it's a bit confusing. I'm talking about the guy in 1k Streams called the mystical librarian. He has a quest that lets you switch 2 skills for either the demon or sage version. I think one is called Guardian Light and can't remember the other. What ecatomb seems to show is one called Fury Burst and then either Demon Provocation or Immortal Energy Depending on sage or demon it would seem. Are these the same just different names? If so what crappy non-spark level 89 skills they seem for demon.

    BUT if you go on eca bottom right corner is a choice for PWI.. so it will be the same names :d

    Once you have the book do you learn it at a normal skill trainer?

    No, you go to sage/demon world -sage world for sages, demon for demons- and find your skill trainer which is pretty close near the entrance. ^^

    BTW...for those that have broken 89 on EITHER side...

    Do level 11 skills work like the 79 skills in that you just need the book and the required spirit? Or do you need to pay coin to actually learn the skills too? Curious as to whether I should socking be extra money away for them... XD;;;

    To learn Sage/Demon skills you pay 1 mil spirit AND 1 mil coins to learn it.. Aside from the money you might have paid to aquire the book, lol.

    Other than the 79 skills, which only require 1 mil spirit (aside from the apo pages and mysterious ink, ofcourse).

    So yes, my advise is to store quite some money if you actually want to get the skills heh.

    89 skills= book + 1 mil coinage + 1 mil spirit & learned at Skill Trainers either in Lothranis or Momo.
    92 skills = book + 1.5 mil coinage + 1.5 spirit
    99 = you don't wana know...

    its all a matter of opinion, there is no *better*. It depends on your play-style.

    IMO I like demon, but i tend to be more aggressive in pvp vs defensive.

    If you plan on doing a lot of pking then (imo) demon is better.

    If you like doing a lot of pve id look into sage. I like demon spark better than sage because of its channeling decrease. And I like demons chi skill vs sage mainly because I can always use chi pots to get chi, but there is no pots to drain someone elses chi like the demon skill does.

    then again.. i did change my mind about 6 times back and forth, but im going demon in a week <_<

    I can't remember what exactly swung me towards Sage in the end. I recall going through the list of all skills, and Sage ended up winning 16-9 in the end. I've got a fair few sage skills now, but possibly my favourite of all is Master Li's Technique. 50 chi in an instant? Yes please!
    As it happens I love being Sage (especially the pretty fairy b:cute), but in all honesty I'd probably end up loving being Demon too. b:embarrass
