Hello everyone. This is not the same event as on Harshlands, this occurred on Sanctuary.

The last post about this was intended to understand what rules exist about luring bosses. This post is to share an edited version of the previous video after speaking with Misfit5 about it. They know and understand my intentions with the video about the world boss. I did apologize for the confusion and offered to change the video for them. This is that video.


mrsshadow from Misfit5 Lures the world boss Soul Hunter to Archosaur southgate to take screenshots for the monthly contest.


Although players can get banned for luring bosses near cities, mrsshadow was not banned, Her intentions were clear and not deleterious in any way or to harm anyone. The purpose for luring it to Archosaur was purely for taking screenshots for the monthly contest. No users were killed. And it was anounced several times to stay away from the boss and not to attack it. It was not lured into the city itself.

    On the contrary I think it should be done more often. It was a nice event which brought the whole of arch running to battle.
    And i got some nice drops from it b:victory

    Hmm well in my personal opinion only, That kind of activity should be reserved as a faction event not a server event simply because people can be taken by suprise, their charm burned or killed by an aoe from a considerably more dangerous boss. Not all players can or would be willing to participate or even be strong enough.

    This is a video of an event on the Sanctuary server, I believe you might be referencing a different occurrence of this particular thing. This boss was not killed.

    Soul Hunter's AoE doesn't do any damage. He's a wimp.

    I say it should be done more often solely because it was fun :D
