    It's the bagua. They represent the different elements. On the flag, from top left going clockwise, it's heaven, fire, earth, and water.

    It's always strange whenever I see that flag though, most people seem to think that asia is only China and Japan.

    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.

    I never said it was a reference to Korea. Someone pointed out that the trigrams around the Aquadash looked similar to those around the korean flag so I explained it. By the way, the Tai Chi symbol is actually just the YinYang itself. It represents the taoist belief that all things contain both light and dark (overly simplified but it'll do).

    Some people combine the YinYang and Bagua like in the picture trufflelove posted but they are actually two different symbols. The Bagua, as I said, represents the different elements. I only know the ones that are on the korean flag and I'm too lazy to do a search for the rest. I'm sure no one cares either way.

    Funnily enough, Bagua also happens to be a martial art.
