Request : Assassin/Psychic sub-forum

I know that once the expansion is out, the sub-forums will be added for these two classes.

However, I request the Admins to create the sub-forums much before <preferably now> so all class based discussions can go into that from now itself.

There seem to be a few people who already have some idea about these classes/skills and other info. But the information seems to be just spread around everywhere. It would be great if we can compile all this info in one place <sub-forum>.

Please consider.

Moreover, I can foresee a multitude of threads titled "Assassin/Psychic Build discussion". It will save them clean up time later if they have their own sections already.

I gotta agree, MorgulLord. But I doubt the mods or GMs have the authority to perform such actions yet. I don't know how a gaming company works exactly, but I'd think they're just doing what they're told, and they haven't been told to make those subforums yet.

It would be a good idea though, IMO.

Can I add: The reason they r not here yet, is because they need to make sure they have all contexts and info available for the forum. Meaning that once they r out, u will have some ppl. wanting the GM's to answer questions about the game. They r not ready to do this just yet. If I'm wrong plz. let me know, but working for a game company a while back, this is my view. "I Do Not Speak For Any GM On This Website, This Is Personal Opinion and Experience"

I agree, this makes a great deal of sense. Spoons has the authority to do what he wishes to the website, I do believe, if not, he has complete authority over the forums.

It would be a nice cleanup for all threads regarding the two new classes to be moved over to the subforums ahead of time, with a sticky explaining that if you wish to post about them, please post them over there, not here.

    Good thinking! b:victory

@ Elvarin - A forum admin should have complete access to create/delete sub-forums. So, whoever is the current Admin should be able to do it with ease.

@ Lu - Well, its like this. The number of new threads related to Assassins/Psychics that will come up over the next few weeks will be quite high. It would be better to start off with a new section now. This way, they wont have a lot of cleaning up to do. The GMs don't officially have to answer to any of those topics yet, not until its released. Just makes it easy for us to refer to info. That's all. ^^

We already have sections devoted to Archers, Wizards, etc and people STILL neglect to post in the correct sections. Why would this be any different?

With that negative attitude, you are already nipping it off at the bud. The people who post in the wrong sections, will do so no matter what.

My idea is for it to help the other section of the community that cares to post in the correct sections and reads through the forum before posting new topics. Even you cant deny that such people still exist.

Furthermore, creation of the subforum will lead people to believe that the Tideborn have been released already, leading to a mass of "how I choose class" threads when people attempt to use them in-game, which the GMs and MODs will have to take the time to clean up.

As for my "negative attitude", if you post a suggestion, you better expect criticism. It is my view that your idea will create more problems than it will solve at the moment, so up yours. b:cute

Me agree it should be created.....seriously the tideborn specific class discussion be cluttering up the general discussion.
and tideborn aren't even part of the game.....b:shocked
