..no server has new players what so ever?
The only people i usually during WQ or when i'am flying around like an idiot to find some PK are high 80's -90+ at west gate, some 50's in TT, few people in TOA and like 3-4 30's in orchid (like 10+ at oracle spots tho). Grind places like butterflies, fish are now completelly obsolete with GV/FC (Thanks, gm's. Please make WQ a instance too.), ZHEN looks like old school nowone does it anymore.
Spots where u know for sure there would be PK on are now ghost towns except fo West gate (aka SP, YKD, Vol 29 cause when they see someone red approaching "PK is forbideen, i will submit a ticket" >.>)
Is the majority of players really inside stupid instances or is PW lacking new players? If it's the second one what do you think it's the reason?

P.S All english mistakes are caused by a crappy education in other languagesb:cry

Although i see a lot of people doing in 2 weeks what i did in almost 7 months. HL top lvler when 1-101 in 3 weeks lol Oracles FTW

    I think it might be just Harshlands. >.>; Lost City is still pretty active. Not that hard to find red names by Orchid Temple, Hidden Orchid, or HT, or newbies being killed. Nor are there any lack of blue names in the starter cities over here. So, I think plenty of people are still joining.

    The amount of new people has definitely decreased, but that's to be expected. That's like saying "Not as many people are buying ______ video game after a year, it must be a bad game". There are other games coming out all the time, it's only expected that PW will have less new players after the opening hype has blown over and new MMOs are being released.

    Harshland never had that many people to begin with, compared to some of the other servers. And during 2x exp you could see many lvl 20-60s in huge grinding groups... so I think the server is pretty healthy and well, even if our expectations of the game company isn't that great anymore.

    Judging from all the people still asking "Where do I get a fairy?" and such, I'd say at least a decent portion aren't. But a fair enough point--the number probably has decreased some, but I don't think to the scale that the OP was implying.

    I have a 95 archer on lost city and a 94 warrior on harshlands.

    I ****ing hate my archer and warrior is my favorite class but I'm playing on lost city. Goes to show how dead/boring/bad harshlands is.

    Well the main reason why you dont have the normal amount of "Player flow" as I like to call it is:

    1. People are getting ready for expansion, which means they just get some money, a lil gear, look at auction house and get out

    2. School is in session and people are more concentrated on school work then games

    3.No major "Holidays" in order to have new players test out the game and see if they like it or not

    4. Its a PVP SERVER and a new one at that. Only the most exprienced or "Newcomer" pvpers are going to Harshlands because people here that PVP server= **** because your white name from 30 on and you can pk whenever you want so of course this is going 2 scare off new comers

    But dont worry HL, it will come a time where the lag will be so horrible on the other servers that they will be "forced" to go to different servers. For example, the major Lag Beast in Sanct, people will slowly see that Lag isnt that bad on other servers and go there. But have fun while you have this "lag little amount of player heaven" Because when it rains...It pours XD

    I get the same feeling, everyone is BH/FC/GV/FB/Cube/Mat Farming. This game is made for players allergic to grinding. I see more poeple out of safe zone farming mats than actually grinding. Fine by me, i dislike competing for mobs. And many mobs location are only made for 1 to 3 people at a time anyway. If everyone grinded like me it would be chaos of KS and arguements.

    Yes, with BH, many people will be in archosaur or in instances.

    But people that do not like to be PK'd usually learn to avoid non-safe zone spots on wq routes because that's usually where they get random pk'd by bored red red names with +30 levels on them. So, except for quest areas for level 3x you should see afk people and waiting people in safe zones on wq routes, and maybe 1% of the questing people (since even after you learn to avoid getting rpk'd you must still visit safe zone some time, for their quests.)

    If you are looking for high level battles, I think you should be using teles and you should be asking people. Or you can wait for TW, or something.

    The so called high lvl battles in HL is a pretty much this:
    -2 teams
    -1 pwns and stays out
    -other in sz for 30 min QQing and swearing like a old sea dog
    -team in sz comes out and wins
    -team that got owned stays in sz for 30 min QQing and swearing like a old sea dog
    and so on

    I don't know...
    After so many complains about the lack of new players I did a few visits during the last week in the newbe zones on Sanctuary at different times and there was always someone new looking around. True is you can't say wether they are really new or alts. True is also you couldn't have said that 6 month ago. You could ofc ask them but have no gurantee they don't lie right into your face for various reasons.
    I too experienced there are a lot of people that are missing game basics among any level, especially when I watch lvl 1-50 areas there are tonns of people dying due to their own mistakes. That shows me they have little experience, so they must be either relatively new or learning resistant.
    I wonder: If it is true that we get no more new players, then why do I always facepalm myself in every second pick up squad where people behave like in the first week up to lvl 90+ ?

    Oh, totally... because getting repeatedly killed by people in 3 seconds when you can take maybe a quarter of their health from them in 10 seconds if they just stood there is just so much fun and excitement.

    I mean, the nerve of them, just ... going some place else like that! How dare they!! They should all go to PvE servers and stop being so mean!!!

    When higher (+10 or more lvls) people did that do me (camping my area) i would:

    Call people to help;
    Move to another location for few minutes.

    You seen like the kind of people that gets rickrolled 10+ times in a row then submits a ticked complaining about PK's in a PvP server.
