What Stats And Weps For Pure Tank

Hi as i have been looking through the forums it seems pure tank is the best. And the different stat builds r so dif some people say 6 3 1 some say completely different things. So what stat build should i use and what weapons?

    Weapons: dual axes/hammers, poleaxe, polearm. Either one works.

    I was told to d 3 str and 2 dex evry lvl untill i had 49 dex then do 3 str and 2 vit b:bye

    this was likely told to you as a suggestion to improve your low level accuracy and get your crit rate up faster in order to kill faster and hopefully level faster. I honestly never had much issue on my barb with the 6 str, 3 vit, 1 dex every two levels build. At level 64, I have 36 dex, and rarely miss. Along with my crit arrow and tome, I have 4% crit rate. Nothing near what an archer my level would have (something like 12%) but the build suffices. All I can think of in this regard is to say that pumping that much dex early on will leave you with a lot of ground to make up HP wise. You won't need 49 dex until ~88 (going by my forumula of dex=level/2 + 5) of course, the guide says you should have 49 dex at around level 76. Whether this has anything to do with TT gear or not, I dunno.

    Crit arrow is a myth. Doesnt actually give you +1% crit rate.

    ^^QFT this.^^

    GMs mentioned it somewhere that although the character window shows the 1% added crit, it doesn't really add to your character and is just a visual glitch.

    put dex to 60 for 3% crit and acuracy ...strength for gx axe...rest vitality...go sage ..you have crazy hp and with gx don't lose agrob:victory
