Should archers put in points for magic?

I'm going pure, so that's 1 str and 4 dex every level, but I was just wondering the higher I go up will I need more magic to sustain longer flight?

    No, don't put any points in magic, it's pretty much wasted.

    If you're going to be a stat-perfectionist, no, don't put points in magic.

    But if you're not planning on being TEH BEST PVP ARCHR EVAR LOLZ, go ahead. Despite what people may say, a few points in a stat that isn't Dex isn't going to kill you. Just don't go past 20 or so, I'd say. I have 15, and on the rare occasion I choose to bust out my old wings for nostalgia value, they don't drain MP at all (although a piece of MP recovery gear will accomplish the same thing).

    Just don't enter air combat with the elven wings - wait until you get eagle wings, at least. :P

    No, don't put points into magic.

    At level 30, you get wings that do not consume mana.

    You may find it worthwhile to invest in a hat or cape that gives MP Recovery, while you are using your starting white wings.

    b:laugh But the guide of all guides for archer says to put points into mag for the lightning skills to be powerful....b:sad

    i'd rather put thos magic points to dex to get higher NORMAL damage.
    Trust me.. its more worth it.
