ok im new to PWI and i was just wonderin does anyone have a Mage that uses only fire? or is all the skills needed?


again imma a noob to PWI not mmorpgs so no need to "dumb it down" 4 me

    No, there are no "Mages that uses only fire". You must learn almost all skills as soon as possible or later.

    Because there are, for example, fire protected mobs, which very hard to kill using fire spells.

    You have 3 out of 5 elements, each having a different use (you have an advantage over 3 out of 6 mob types (5elements, and the no ele mob))

    Make use of all your skils, or you're taking away 2/3th of your skiltree

    You'll have to use all the elements like the others have said. Yes, it sounds alot at first, but you'll be fine later on.

    also not all skills are needed.
    but you should really level up gush, stonerain, sandstorm, glacial embrace, and stone barrier.

    ecatomb.net shows the whole mage skill tree. No you really can't get away with just going 1 element (except maybe the first three levels).

    Check out Pandora's PvP Mage guide (ignore the whole "light armor rocks, arcane sucks" thing though... you've been warned b:chuckle), his skill handbook is the best in this forum and will answer pretty much any question you'll have about skills and such.

    This game doesn't allow for that type of complexity. You will use all your skills.
