Barbs and lvling?

I rolled a barb cuz I like to be useful in parties w/o spending alot of mp pots on healing and I want to go in charging head first with the squad behind meb:laugh

But I'm used to venos,mages,and archers so being a barb is sort of tiring to lvl. So far I'm only lvl 23 but I was hoping the lvling will pick up. b:surrender

I know lvl 40+ will be fun cuz of the bh i get to do :D but 23-40 seems a bit painful LOL.

Any comments, tips, or advice is appreciated b:pleased

    Tip: Roll a class that you enjoy, not a class that you know will be "useful".

    Its just I'm not getting to do wat i enjoy so far and i'm lvling a bit slowy

    barbarian will always level slow, unless you can afford to spent a ton of money on oracles. their game play (grinding) is one of the most boring. you will be using quite a bit of pots, unless you use charm(s).

    that aside, you will not be dieing as much as other classes. also, you won't be VERY useful until after 70s. however, starting from lvl 40, you will start to get useful as you will be tanking for bh.

    until very very later lvls, barbarian will be a meat shield. you keep everything attacking you and protect your team members. you will NOT, however, do good damage.

    if you want a melee DD, then be a bm, unless you absolutely enjoy the barb class (like me), or you will just want to quit.

    Ive been DDs before and I'm tired of them. Atm I just like things that you do in squads like HH or BH and such and once im lvl 40ish I wont have enough time to lvl up by grinding except maybe on weekends cause of school so I usually do BH and CS and log off.

    If that is the case, barbarian isn't really a smart choice for you. This is because you are going to get a high repair bill from bh and the drops you get from bh will not be enough to fund your bills. As of cs, it costs money as well, which is something you won't get if you don't grind or spend real life money. To top it off, as you level up from dailies, you will not have enough spirits nor money to upgrade your skills. Even if you play on weekends, you will just not receive much income thanks to, yet again, barbarian's high repair bills. So make your decision carefully.

    life powder ? did u use it? pretty useful for fast grind at the beginning, later on use focus to spam sunder...b:victory

    Just do your quests and you will level quick.

    FROM 01-30: do all ur quest, ull have enought new quest to level up just by doing em. very fast and easy levelling once a day

    FROM 30-40: do all ur quest, ull have your first 2 daily quest available (Crazy Stone) this cheap quest will level u in no time through the 30s. ull also have the Friendship Quest which gives just 15k but is still good. fast and easy u can level once a day

    FROM 40-60: do all ur quest, ull have a new daily quest (Bounty Hunter) that gives alot of xp/spr, so ull be nice with it and CS and u wont have problem leveling. mobs are getting harder but ull have more squad time, so faster questing

    FROM 60-70:do all the few quest u get every new level, ull be able to enter the TT for mats run, very nice xp and ull start doing a lil profit. continue doing your dailies (CS and BH), ull able to do justice quest which goes nicely with 1man-armys. ur tank role will comes out more every level

    AFTER 70s: ull get ur last(?) daily quest, the World Quest, so ull have 3 BIG dailies(CS, BH and WQ). at this point just doing these 3 quest will take u a lot of time in ur daily playtime, so i recommend to achieve all the quest for new level, but dont do em until 75 when levelling will be slower. in early 70s it will take just 3-4days to level up once just with dailies.




    from 60+ ull be able to enter many instance dungeons, from now on ull be needed alot, so tanking experience is demanded...

    dont worry ull gain knowledge during ur playtime, and still ull have to learn even at later levels (i.e. Rebirth Gamma squads)

    I have to disagree with the slow leveling. I just started my barb with my gf, who created a BM, and we have been questing with one another upon reaching arch. (lag city)
    And frankly i have been leveling quite a bit faster then her BM, at the moment she is at 27 and i am 6.8% into 28 (keeping in mind the fact the she and i are always in squad)

    And trust me this little lv.1 up that have pulled isn't winning me any brownie points.b:surrender
